Remember Adam Lakeland said he doesn’t travel 4 hours each day not to compete at the top end of the table. So have keep the faith we will be up there challenging

Didn’t go tonight but looks a poor result against a team who were tonked 6-0 on Saturday.
Is AL trying to flog the same horses too much? We have a thin squad and with the amount of injuries we have been getting is it now finding us out. That’s the 2nd home game against lowly opposition we have come up short. Be interesting to hear what the Manager has to say after this one. 79

Club are pushing tonight’s game hard ( great media/PR). Reduction on admission, beers and hotdogs. Let’s hope it’s a decent turnout, a good game with the right result.

General Discussion / Re: Blyth Spartans now owned by its Supporters.« on: November 05, 2024, 02:54:30 PM »
At the level Blyth find themselves at it might well work. Think at our level it would be a struggle. Hybrid between individual shareholders and Community fan owned would have a chance at Step 2.

Curzon who beat us got whopped 4-0 at home to Mansfield today. The FA Cup was always all about shocks for me. Ronnie Radford for Hereford v Newcastle stays long in the memory

Seems like the long throw into the box is making sone thing of a comeback. Rory Delap use to gain Stoke a good few goals with his under Pulis. As a kid I remember the Chelsea No 10 Ian Hutchinson use to launch them into the box with his ‘windmill’ action.

Small margins. A win would have sent us top. Big ask to win at Chorley though.

A point on the road is a decent return. We have been hard to beat of late.

Will be interesting to see how some of the Clubs Will
React to this. Employers NI now rising to 15%. With the threshold now kicking in at £5k. I guess Lynn are fortunate that we have had a decent increase in numbers coming through the gate and have a benefactor like Joe behind it all. The new Commercial guy will hopefully be hitting the ground in November as well. I feel other Clubs with bigger squads will be hit harder than us as we are running on an 18 man squad plus the Assistant Manager. 87

Let’s settle for sitting 2nd as we go into November.
Good comeback from 1 down at the break 88

Amazingly a win tonight could see us top the League. Though it would be dependant on the Scunny result. How good would that look as we go into November ?
