Be interesting to see how this gift is divid up amongst the Clubs.

If for example it is based on attendance (2019/20) of all the 66 Clubís now left in the National League structure, and basing it on say 2m a month Government handout then Lynn would receive £31,400 per Month.

However at the top of that Tree Notts County would receive £114,500.   At the bottom of the tree Hungerford would receive £7,100.

If there is a programme being produced and available to pre order then why is SC banging on about the game not going ahead unless he is given Gov money, which has to be larger than last seasons average gate and at a higher rate of admission than last season.

Talk of biting the hand that is hopefully going to feed you.

Very mixEd messages coming out of the club.

Why is it a fans favourite like Hendo leaving was released by both the EDPand the Lynn News before the club got around to it ?  Maybe they donít work Sundays.

I thought we had a new media team headed up by Mark Hearle.  Letís hope they sharpen their act up as the season progresses.

In a word B&G no.  I guess they didn't think either idea was able to bring in enough money to warrant the effort involved.

I would have thought Mark Hearle has sold a lot of advertising for the programme so rather than having to return advertisers monies it makes sense to produce the programme.   £15 is a good fund raiser.  No doubt.  Depends though on ratio of adverts to copy to make it a worthwhile read.

I suggested going forward? that the Club charges maybe £15 for streaming with an online programme thrown in.  Wonít matter how many pages of copy then with no printing costs.

We need huge help to get through this season -  and are thinking of fund raising ideas.  If we produced a 68 page programme for the Yeovil game would your pay £ 15 for one? We would post it to you? We need 70 fans to buy it to break even and 270 fans to make it worthwhile

Thoughts people

Wish the lad well and sad to see him go for whatever personal reasons.

Always gave 100% for the cause.   Never gave defenders a moment peace was always in there trying to win the ball back.   Not to mention the goals he notched for us.

I guess sometime in like Football doesnít always come first.

Our loss, Gorlestonís gain.

Was thinking the same KES when I saw it.   Mair instead of Pedro, KES?    Marriott will start if fit in place of Southwell ?   Think Iíd prefer Barrow instead of Jones.

What would others go with ?  ( if the League starts )

Trouble is if you treat all clubs differently then is the National League not in effect giving the bigger sides an advantage over the smaller Clubs ?

Agreed Griss.  Itís about time other events were brought into line.  With the R rate seemingly going up daily. We need to be all singing from the same Hymn sheet.

Think this two separate Gov departments saying 2 differing views.  Hardly a surprise.

If Gov money is given to the National League how will it be distributed?  One theory is it will be based on your average gate of last season.   So the likes of York,  Chester Etc will get more support money than say Kings Lynn.

Notts County on that basis could receive some 3.5 times more than Lynn.  No level
Playing in Sport it seems.

On SCís latest podcast.  He said he was hoping for 2,000 subscribers per game to really help the club.   Also they have an experienced guy coming in to film it using 3 cameraís.  The cost he was pitching at £10-12.

No mention of commentary.

I feel another podcast is imminent...
 :rain:

It seems your wish has been granted with a staged Cleeve and Hearle back slapping exercise.

Feel a bit for Tony M. Great piece of Club PR there toward one supporter whose views donít match their own.

Now if he was to invite Tony M onto his Podcast to discuss the various points that would make for interesting listening.

It wonít happen of course.
