Let’s hope that the game Boxing Day can go ahead, safely.

Like many I can see a close down period for Elite Sport where no testing is taking place.

With Loma being the 4th player this season to walk away are there issues in the camp ?   IC prided himself in having a ‘tight’ dressing room last season and we saw the results of that.   This season has seen us throw the towel in at certain games. ( Solihull, Sutton, etc).

Some times the mix doesn’t work

Apart from a back up keeper where would you see the budget spent Tony ?  Or maybe we will run with a squad -1.  All helps in these testing times which maybe coming in January, which sees the end of the Govt hand out money.

The Govt is the one who had a landslide win voted in by the electorate.

35,000 declared cases today and the demise of 500 odd more lives, and the Country is open for Christmas.

Financial wise a cup run might not be a bad idea but with limited attendances brings limited financial gain.  This coming Saturday for example we will show a big - figure.

Just feel we need to give ourselves every chance to stay at this level.   With games. Likely to be called off through weather and Covid and with the late start to the season we will have a lot of games to cram in before the end of the season.  We will need all 20 members of the squad, so Saturday would be the idea opportunity to give those who have not had many run outs some valuable game time.

As the game is nearly 10 days away is it to late to reduce the figure and offer a reduction refund to those who have purchased tickets, as a gesture of goodwill KES ?

Congratulations to the National League Board who are carrying through on their promise to pay the October to December payments as agreed. Right decision

If the Gov money is coming through in full for Dec (84k). Why did SC and MH need to stick it to the supporters by up the prices and trying to charge kids full wack ?

As this is a Trophy game and not apparently high on the list of priorities (which I understand).  What team would you go for ?   The team that did so well v Torquay or give some those who haven’t had much game time a full run out ?

What’s 96p to a Lynn fan who is asked to pay £25 for a seat, £15 for a programme ( reduced to £7 reduced to £4). £12 for Streaming, war chest contribution etc etc.    ?

If the unfortunate Bedford player was in a position to train with the squad on the Saturday just gone, then  how can any of Bedford players be clear to play next Saturday ?

Can see our game being reinstated to go ahead at Alfreton next Saturday.   An early decision should be made to allow both Clubs to prepare for the game.

Listening to Bastock’s post match interview, he was saying it wasn’t possible to play their normal game ‘on that’ ( the pitch).  So I don’t know how much we can read into that performance as if we could play a passing game on it then neither could Torquay.  So became a different type of game for the both teams and maybe was a little bit of a leveller.

Having Gash back to get us up the pitch was a big plus and it could be suggested that Adam Marriott is not the same player without his partner of last season.  Interesting also that we looked much tighter on the left hand side with Barrows replacing Brown.   Could be both full backs playing as full back gives  the two wide players license to go and attack more and not worry so much about defensive duties.

I wonder,  on a decent surface how much Jarv and Richards would get exposed.  Still
Think IC will go horses for courses in terms of personnel and systems.

Good that the owner has seen the massive error made and is now correcting it for the next game.

Well done Mr Cleeve.   Let’s hope the fans respond in a positive manner. This time.

Is it really that much of hardship for people to wear a mask ?   People have been banging the drum to be able to get back to watching Footie live, then treat it with total disrespect.

625 people seems an idea number for a test event at The Walks.  However what is the clubs H&S guy and the stewards going to do with 1400 plus in ?

Who would really want to be a Health & Safety office with that weighing on their shoulders ?

Sad to hear the passing of Merlin.  A warm hearted generous man who tried to make everyone welcome at The Walks, during his time as Chairman.
