General Discussion / Not looking good.
« on: January 20, 2024, 03:39:12 PM »
:farmer: not looking good after 30 minutes today, 2 nil down away from home.
Anybody have any idea where the clubs leading goal scorer is today, injured, not selected, left the club all possibilities as very little information still coming out of the club.

General Discussion / Holding a lead
« on: January 13, 2024, 04:45:03 PM »
:oldman" It is at the stage of the season where we really do need to win matches, as I write this we have surrendered a two goal lead away from home, we really have not got a hope in hell if we keep drawing matches or indeed lose matches where we have been two goals ahead, shut up shop defend in numbers and try to get the 3 points. I get that a point away is a bonus point, but in reality we need more, the season is slipping away as are the points still available. .

General Discussion / Another loss
« on: September 23, 2023, 04:58:06 PM »
Well another 3 points gone, how much longer can our chairman afford to allow this to go on. Stick with this manager and assistant and watch the attendances plummet therefore losing more money, or part company and presumably pay up the contract, either way a no win for the chairman, but I know from a fanís point of view, which is the preferred option.
What blah blah blah will the interviews have in them after another defeat. We as a side are toothless.

General Discussion / Lowly teams cost us.
« on: April 29, 2023, 04:48:29 PM »
:oldman" :farmer: Ultimately it would appear we will now be in the playoffs as I write this, to many drawn matches and defeats to teams in the lower reaches of the league have cost us the title and automatic promotion.
However I would just like to express my gratitude and appreciation to Mark and Hugo, for there immense contribution over the past few weeks, they have really taken the team to new levels not seen under TURNCOAT TOMMY, they instilled belief in our team and we have really had an incredible run to push Fylde , they have praised the fans, not criticised and the fans have repaid there faith in numbers through the gate. On to the playoffs and in good form, we can still play National league football next season COYL :oldman" :farmer: .

General Discussion / Playoffs
« on: April 07, 2023, 04:45:34 PM »
:farmer: :oldman" I think that safely announces our arrival into the playoffs, but who knows we still have a chance to win this league. Keeping the faith, COYL. Decent results all round today from a KLTFC perspective :oldman" :farmer:

General Discussion / Current form
« on: February 22, 2023, 05:04:46 PM »
:farmer: :oldman" with all the moaning and groaning thatís been levelled at the squad and manager on here recently, I thought I would just see how much better Fylde have been than us recently, over the last 6 matches Fylde have amassed 11 points and KLTFC have added 8 points to our total. Yes we havenít performed as well as we had become accustomed to earlier in the season, but if this is our bad patch and we are only 3 points worse off than our closest rivals, all is not as bad as some on here seem to paint it. If indeed we do not win this league then it will be down to our performances against the teams nearer to the bottom of the league than the top. Just remember where we were as a football club 12 months ago, we would all I believe, have taken our current position if offered. Keep the faith. :farmer: :oldman"

News of former Linnets / Fraser Blake - Tracey
« on: February 01, 2023, 07:32:16 PM »
Has moved to Swindon from Burton on deadline day, been on loan but now made permanent. Fraser is becoming a bit of a journeyman since leaving KLTFC, but good luck to him in his latest move.

General Discussion / New Signings
« on: January 01, 2023, 10:53:55 AM »
:oldman" :farmer: Having listened to Tommyís new year eve press release, he said that we would be seeing new faces in the squad. Just out of a matter of curiosity, has anyone better connected to the club than myself any names and positions of theses said players. I know we have had many things promised over the last few seasons that did not materialise but hopefully this will, a bit more depth and quality to an already decent squad could well make the difference between now and May.  :oldman" :farmer:
Happy New Year to all and 3 points would be most welcome today.

General Discussion / Not all bad news today
« on: November 26, 2022, 05:23:17 PM »
:oldman" :farmer: We lose in the FA Cup, but we also drop to 3rd in National league north, however Brackley drop 2 points today and now lead us by 3, having played 3 games more, Darlington hot on there heels but also having played 3 games more than us.
We now need to get back to winning ways again, make the Walks a fortress again and keep picking up the points on the road, I see no reason we canít win this league, but we have now lost twice at home in a week, yes I realise not league matches and class of opponents etc, but a defeat is a defeat, and as I said we need to get back to winning ways quickly. Also keeping an eye over our shoulders as AFC Fylde, are only a couple of pointís behind us.

Finally well done to all involved today, ultimately we were not good enough, but we gave it a good go.  :oldman" :farmer:

General Discussion / Peterborough Sports
« on: August 29, 2022, 07:26:43 AM »
:farmer: :oldman" :scarf: Firstly good luck to KLTFC today, only a short journey up the road for us LINNETS, hopefully there will be many of us in attendance this afternoon to cheer the boyís on. Hopefully we can out number the home support and turn this into a home game. I feel we really should be looking for the 3 points, to really keep the pressure on at the top of the league. A draw I feel would also be a well earned point as I believe Peterborough will really be fired up for this one.

On another matter how many people actually prefer this level of football as opposed to the next level up ? .  I totally agree you should always strive to play at the highest level possible, however at this level , l believe that the supporters are better connected to the club, more local derby matches, Boston, Peterborough, Brackley, Kettering to name a few, lower cost for the club, the opportunity to ramp up the support with the correct marketing, better sponsorship opportunities with the correct pricing structure and marketing. In my opinion there are many plus points at this level if handled correctly, how do others see this?.

General Discussion / Two new this week
« on: February 26, 2022, 09:06:08 AM »
:farmer: :oldman"  Could someone please enlighten me on the two new players we were supposed to be having a look at all week in training, I have personally not heard anything from the club or indeed anyone else as to who they are. From Tommyís press comments last week I assumed they were coming, but no more has been mentioned or is this just more bullóót for us to read and swallow, I am afraid I have lost faith in the whole set up at KLTFC, we as supporters are treated as mushrooms by the club , fed **** and kept in the dark. :oldman" :farmer:
