Would have been Aston Villa away, would have been nice, but we’ve enjoyed the ride and now to concentrate on the league.

General Discussion / Not all bad news today« on: November 26, 2022, 05:23:17 PM »
We lose in the FA Cup, but we also drop to 3rd in National league north, however Brackley drop 2 points today and now lead us by 3, having played 3 games more, Darlington hot on there heels but also having played 3 games more than us.
We now need to get back to winning ways again, make the Walks a fortress again and keep picking up the points on the road, I see no reason we can’t win this league, but we have now lost twice at home in a week, yes I realise not league matches and class of opponents etc, but a defeat is a defeat, and as I said we need to get back to winning ways quickly. Also keeping an eye over our shoulders as AFC Fylde, are only a couple of point’s behind us. Finally well done to all involved today, ultimately we were not good enough, but we gave it a good go. 18
General Discussion / Peterborough Sports« on: August 29, 2022, 07:26:43 AM »
Firstly good luck to KLTFC today, only a short journey up the road for us LINNETS, hopefully there will be many of us in attendance this afternoon to cheer the boy’s on. Hopefully we can out number the home support and turn this into a home game. I feel we really should be looking for the 3 points, to really keep the pressure on at the top of the league. A draw I feel would also be a well earned point as I believe Peterborough will really be fired up for this one.
On another matter how many people actually prefer this level of football as opposed to the next level up ? . I totally agree you should always strive to play at the highest level possible, however at this level , l believe that the supporters are better connected to the club, more local derby matches, Boston, Peterborough, Brackley, Kettering to name a few, lower cost for the club, the opportunity to ramp up the support with the correct marketing, better sponsorship opportunities with the correct pricing structure and marketing. In my opinion there are many plus points at this level if handled correctly, how do others see this?. 19
General Discussion / Two new this week« on: February 26, 2022, 09:06:08 AM »
Could someone please enlighten me on the two new players we were supposed to be having a look at all week in training, I have personally not heard anything from the club or indeed anyone else as to who they are. From Tommy’s press comments last week I assumed they were coming, but no more has been mentioned or is this just more bull——t for us to read and swallow, I am afraid I have lost faith in the whole set up at KLTFC, we as supporters are treated as mushrooms by the club , fed **** and kept in the dark.

General Discussion / North or South ?« on: February 13, 2022, 09:41:13 AM »
Well I personally think yesterday’s game was vital to win if we stood any chance at all of escaping the drop this season, it is quite clear and also very obvious that we are no where near the level on or indeed off the pitch required to operate at the present level we ply our trade. I firmly believe that we will now be definitely relegated, I see no way with the tools we have in our chest, how anything but relegation is now an option, I also feel some, no most of the players in the squad are not as good as we have had in our recent past and they will be no where challenging at a lower level, this in my mind leaves the question WHERE WILL WE BE PLAYING NEXT SEASON, NORTH OR SOUTH, my personal preference would be South, not so many big ex league clubs in the southern division, perhaps allowing us a better chance to re group and try again. North I believe have bigger teams and possibly bigger gates( possibly if things improve between club and supporters), but it’s South for me, any other people have an opinion, please join the debate, what would be your preference?.

General Discussion / Chesterfield away« on: January 02, 2022, 10:10:54 AM »
Well, I have been watching the forum and the day after , what I consider to be one of our biggest games in many a year, we have absolutely zero comments on this forum board. New Year’s Day fixture, not too far away in comparison to some of our other fixtures, very healthy 6.5 k + crowd, league leaders, very impressive new stadium, ex league club, I could go on , but does this show that the people of King’s Lynn, have indeed fallen out of love with KLTFC . I feel in the past we would have seen a lot more activity on the board, but as I write this not 1 solitary post, now the reasons for this is not for me to speculate, I do have my opinions and I am sure many have similar views, but there we will leave it.
As for yesterday, yes we lost, but losing 1-0 away to the league leaders in front of a very partisan crowd, I believe to be a very good effort from our patched up team, so congratulations to Tommy and the boys, we are seeing a vast improvement in performance at the moment, unfortunately we are still losing too many matches, but the seed of change is visible for all to see. Whether we can persuade people to attend matches again, I have my doubts at this moment, we can and indeed should attract 15/1800 for home matches, but I feel too much damage has been done for a quick return to crowd’s of this size. 22
General Discussion / Extra 400 declared.« on: November 16, 2021, 06:24:30 PM »
Has anyone else noticed on the home page that we seem to have suddenly found another 400 paying supporters for last Saturdays match, originally declared as 1070 now seems to have risen to 1470. This is probably a more realistic figure.

General Discussion / Robbie Savage/ Macclesfield« on: November 14, 2021, 02:42:13 PM »
Now I am really not a Robbie Savage fan, but having watched the documentary he has made about Macclesfield fc, I have to give the man some well deserved credit. If you are able to watch this BBC production, have a watch, so many similarities with KLTFC even down to the crowd trouble. The way these people have gone about reforming an old established football club really was a pleasure to watch, MANY LESSONS COULD BE LEARNT BY KLTFC FROM WATCHING THIS. I don’t believe our hierarchy would agree but basically it’s run by 1main man and a few other people who are trying to do there best for the loyal supporters the football club has.
Please have a watch, and maybe a new debate could be had on this forum. 25
General Discussion / Norwich« on: June 18, 2021, 07:44:03 PM »
Daniel Farke will be bringing his 1st team players to the Walks on July 16th with a 7pm kick off.
Hopefully this will put a few pennies back into the club. This will be Norwich’s first pre season friendly and hopefully a sell out match for KLTFC. I feel confident we will be able to sell all the tickets we are allowed to sell with these being near neighbours, hopefully COVID-19 restrictions will be easing and a good evening can be had by all. 26
General Discussion / Ryan Jarvis« on: June 11, 2021, 09:08:02 AM »
Ryan Jarvis has returned to his old stomping ground at Lowestoft, a quality player who I am sure will still have a big influence on games.

General Discussion / Is this the end of the King.« on: May 01, 2021, 08:19:01 PM »
The EDP are reporting that Cameron King has played his last game for KLTFC, Ian Culverhouse has also stated that the lad needs more tests to see why he is having breathing problems and that we have not seen the best of his talent since he returned to the club due to illness and injuries. I feel that he may well have played his last game for KLTFC and if this proves to be the case may I be first to thank Cameron for his efforts for our club.
