:farmer: I am sad to say this as I don't want to see anybody lose there job, however I am glad to see the 3 merry men depart.  The manager was never the right choice for our club in my humble opinion,he has failed in most of his managerial positions, maybe a good coach but not able to get the players on board with his ideas it would appear.

Mr Beevers, can somebody please tell me what he has brought to KLTFC,I fail too see any positives from his appointment.

Mr Gaughran, local lad, past his sell by date at this level as a player, turned to coaching, really can't see any positives at all in his return to the Walks. Maybe it was thought that he could use his links with Peterborough United to recruit a few up and coming players, nothing has happened. Glad to see them all depart and I may well return and support the Linnets again.  :oldman"

General Discussion / The Pitch
« on: August 27, 2018, 04:51:24 PM »
:farmer: All this crap about the pitch last season, we now have a decent surface to play football on, but a manager who is unable to find a formula to send a side out and win football matches. I feel this guy should not have been given the reins of KLTFC, he has really not been successful in previous managerial roles , but what do I know, I know I am not prepared to pay 26 before any extras for my son and I to watch this dross.

General Discussion / Sam Gaughran.
« on: July 22, 2018, 07:04:47 PM »
:farmer: I see Sam was named as a substitute in today's match with Rangers FC under 23s, I am hoping this is due to the fact of 2 games in 2 days, I really wish Sam well in his coaching role with the club, but just feel he was not up to the standard required to play at the level we showcased our talents at last season. Good luck with the coaching but please stick to that except in a real emergency. Finally congratulations to all concerned with our first trophy win of the season :oldman"

:farmer: What a great piece of informative information you have put out there KLFCTV, what a nice person the new groundsman comes over as and his work is there clear for all to see. A very important piece of the jigsaw. It's now over to the players to perform on our new pitch.

:oldman" Rome was not built in a day, give the pitch time to bed in, playing on it is not really good but I accept Norwich at home is a big pre season coup,so needs must, but Fakenham at home I have to question. I wish to say well done to our new groundsman. I think the pitch will look a lot different once it has had a rain on it.
Ps. Before people slate me and say we can water the pitch, yes this is true but it is not the same as a good steady rain, this allows the ground to take up the moisture as opposed to running off the surface . :farmer:

General Discussion / Re: Great Season.
« on: May 08, 2018, 07:13:25 PM »
:farmer: Well, it was not to be, I believe some players FROZE on the hottest day of the year, credit to Slough they came and did a job on us, I felt Pedro had a bad day at the office, his distribution was appalling from the ground, the best 2 Lynn players on the park were Fryatt and Gash in my opinion. We now go forward with a new manager at the helm (when appointed), some players will come and some will go, hopefully we learn from this cruel defeat and possibly win the league next season .

OVER TO YOU MR CHAIRMAN.  :oldman"

:farmer: My ideal day would be for King's Lynn town to win this football match, a 2000 gate, Ian Culverhouse to retract his resignation after another fine win, plenty of Slough supporters here to witness our promotion, no trouble between fans only good banter and a safe trip home.  :oldman"

General Discussion / Great Season.
« on: May 07, 2018, 06:00:14 AM »
:bus: I just wanted to say win or lose today, what a great season we have had.
FIRST and foremost this is down to the players and their manager Mr. Culverhouse. The effort and desire to succeed has been evident at many matches this season, which looked lost but with fighting spirit were eventually won. We really can only say we didn't turn up for a handful of matches all season, this happens at all levels.

Secondly, we really should also send some thanks Mr Cleeves way, he has backed the manager financially this season, yes the pitch has been an issue, not disputing that, but had we have had a groundsman would his wages have taken away from the playing budget, QUITE POSSIBLY.

We now move on to our biggest match in many years, good luck to all at KLTFC, however I feel we really will not need luck if we play the same as we did against Weymouth, STUNNING is all I can say.

Thirdly, Mr Culverhouse is to depart after this match, Mr Cleeve will be looking for a new manager, let's put all this bitterness and bitching behind us, enjoy the day and win this promotion.

:banghead; let's look at a positive in amongst all this will he ,won't he be here next season, which I sincerely hope he is but probably believe he won't.
Just remember when SETCH was packed off up the road who expected a manager of the calibre we have now, what's saying if he goes Mr. Cleeve has not got another up his sleeve. Only time will tell, but I hope he stays.
