Think Reg moved to australiia Cliff Jones was on 100 pounds per game , big money at time in what was our promotion season? ended in relegation.Mr Brown went end of season and club 40grand in debt or so it was said.Len Hall came back as chairman and kept club going when times were very hard.

SIXTIES LINNETS without doubt Lynns best football times as far as top six in Southern league when this was the feeder in real terms to football league ie Camb utd, Hereford,Wimbledon and also many fac runs against league teams and very good gates often 2000 + oh those were the days my friends i thought they would never end.

Cant remember to many people with an on the pitch problem we have done well, two leagues higher and good cup runs, just thinking what the possible potential is off pitch if certain things were different.

Has been stated in the past that playing budget is the total from gate money and nothing more, that still leaves if the case a lot of income generated from the CLUB ,we know there is a lot of expenses involved in travel.ins, energy bills etc but i am sure without business detail this is a concern of more than a few supporters that dont attend as regular as they might.Still think Setch is right man for job!

All our reserve and youth players are locally sourced, how far back must we go to equal the number of local players who feature in the first team squad?
