General Discussion / Re: All results expunged

The National League sees itself as an extension of the EFL so will do whatever actions are decided by the leagues above and won't give a thought to individual situations or clubs at Step 3 and below.

Hereford have played 35
Spennymooor have played 18 homes games so Home/Away ppg times 18  to bring everyone to 36

There is no ideal way of dong this.  If we must use PPG and a carry-over to next season then, as some clubs have played more home than away games and vice-versa, you could take the average home PPG and the average away PPG and multiply each by 21 to get an end of season total to be carried forward to next season, but then there would still be some clubs complaining that it was unfair as some of their remaining matches were against lower/higher opposition and therefore their PPG would have improved/diminished had the season continued.
Also, to how many decimal places will PPG be calculated, could promotion be won on one hundredth of a point or should we argue about the merits of rounding?

Nice idea but who would say what fixtures had to be played in order to catch up.
Assuming the target is 36 games, as Hereford have  already played 35, we would have to play one home and two away, but which ones?

Stephen Cleeve wanted donations, loans are all very well but he has  to pay them back!
The aims of the Trust are to "to purchase a stakeholding in the club" not be sole owner.
No, I don't think the Trust could not leap in and save the club but as part of a consortium  they might achieve something, although I doubt if any consortium would want to put in the kind of money Stephen Cleeve appears to doing.

Have the Norwich loanees gone back and this is money released by their departure or just an undisclosed sum found down the sofa?
I guess it is nice that the club is planning for next season, but a bit optimistic that there will be one in 2020.

"The League held a board meeting yesterday and decided to vote in favour of declaring the season null and void with immediate effect."

"League bosses are now holding crunch talks with the FA in a bid to get them to ratify the decision - and confirm the remaining positions to decide who is promoted and relegated."

A little bit contradictory, I thought null and void meant "look on it as if it never happened."

Also, if the club goes into liquidation it would be sent down the leagues. Surely the trust would want to prevent that from happening again?
I'm sure you know the answer to your own question but just to humour you.

Wouldn't that depend on the size of the debt and whether the club was sustainable at the level it was playing? No point in ploughing money into a club that would only find itself in the same position in a couple of season's time.

That will help pay for the 400 fine for the confrontation in the Altrincham game.

8.36 In the event of a match having to be postponed and one Club is found to be at fault then opponents for that match shall be compensated by the Club at fault. In the case of a visiting Club where it has undertaken all or part of its journey then travelling expenses and meal allowances may be claimed based on the total mileage involved in the whole journey.

Just a typo. I think there was some confusion about when Blyth's Senior Cup game was being played.
It was eventually arranged for last night and they won 2-1 against Bedlington Terriers.

Lucky for Lynn, they have no game on the Saturday but Gloucester are at Bradford.
