Didn't realise he was released by a league club - thought he came through KLCF then the reserves and now Academy and U21s.

I guess if you are an academy player released by a league club then you need an agent to put you out there.

I wonder what the future is for FB-T. Out of contract this summer, 26 in September and only played 38 minutes of league football this year.

My Dad said we need to keep an eye open for someone called Jordan Davies from Telford.
AFC Telford United can confirm Jordan Davies has decided to look for competitive football for the remainder of the season which we have supported. We would like to wish him well for the rest of the season.

Maybe even news of a new signing on there tonight!

If the Under21s are not selected to sit on the bench in times of crisis then should we not consider having a reserve team when finances allow? It is all very well advertising the Academy as a means of getting into the first team but the evidence of recent days suggest otherwise.

Hardly surprised it was rejected: --------------------------- Details of the rejected Step 2 proposal; Clubs play each other once 2 promotions (1 automatic & 1 playoffs) Clubs start with their PPG average multiplied by 15 All clubs start with at least 20pts All clubs start with 0 goal difference

Seems like a reasonable idea. There were a number of clubs that wanted to continue, particularly in the south, and promotion from a temporary league will fill the gap left by Macclesfield but just create one lower down.

So who would you furlough? Aaron Jones an obvious choice and maybe Rory McAuley if he is out for 3-4 weeks.
Players who cannot be furloughed Tyler Denton, Alex Kiwomya, Michael Gyasi, Kyle Callan-McFadden. Can the new secretary kick a ball?
I thought Cleeve Said there were 6 that can't be furloughed.
Sorry, Joe Taylor is also on contract and signed after the end of October so that would make six employees including the secretary.

If a club furloughs some players does that break the rule about fielding the strongest team?

Just enjoy the ride. It's the Rushden & Diamonds saga all over again but I'm not sure Mr Cleeve has Max Griggs' wealth.

I would guess it is up to the membership to decide.

Didn't the Chairman say that the club were applying for a grant? Also there is the threat of of possible legal action against the league by other clubs and the unknown outcome and the idea proposed by some Step 2 clubs of creating league or leagues to see out this season with promotion and relegation at the end of it. https://www.ebfc.co.uk/news/open-letter-to-mark-ives-2599760.html
