General Discussion / Re: "King's Lynn Town FC Legends Hall of Fame"

Mick Wright also scored in that famous FA Cup win at Coventry in 1961.

Just wondering are there any stats available from Gary Setchell's first spell as a player?
From Pen Pictures:
Setchell started with Lynn's Youth team in 1991 and went on to play for Wisbech Town and Fakenham, where he was the league's leading goalscorer in the 1998-99 season with 36 goals. He went on to join Kettering Town in 1999. The following season he joined Rushden & Diamonds and made 77 appearances, scoring three goals, his final appearance being in March 2003.
He moved on to Tamworth but domestic circumstances saw him move back to Lynn, making his debut for the senior side at the start of 2004.
He made 15 appearances that season, scoring twice. He made a further 36 appearances, scoring twice, in the following season before being released in June 2005.
He went on to play for AFC Sudbury and then spent two seasons at Swaffham before moving onto Wisbech where he became manager in November 2008.

and no Chris Watts . . .  amazing !

I think the idea was good but the club should have some kind criteria for qualification - like more than 400 appearances.

Should be the same as a league game - £4

Correct decision IMO.
Too much of a risk allowing Hungerford too travel and then the match referee calling the game off.

Different from the Tweets and FB comments which said we were poor all over the park and that at least two of the goals were the result of poor defending/keeper error.

If that is the real Peter Langford then isn't he a Vice President of the club?

It is a difficult one. If a club two steps higher comes in for a player and the player wants away for the opportunity then what should a club do?
If the club insists on a fee and that is not forthcoming then you might end up with a player who is seriously pee'd off and no longer wants to play you.

What Pat Rayment said when he signed him:
" . . . we gave him a very, very good financial proposal Ė more than what Stamford offered. Itís wiped out the rest of my budget, if Iím honest."

Reserves were a little unlucky perhaps? No Jack Frohawk - injured or back with Dereham?
Not with Dereham, someone said they'd seen him at the ground so I guess injured.  :dontknow:
