If that is the real Peter Langford then isn't he a Vice President of the club?

It is a difficult one. If a club two steps higher comes in for a player and the player wants away for the opportunity then what should a club do?
If the club insists on a fee and that is not forthcoming then you might end up with a player who is seriously pee'd off and no longer wants to play you.

What Pat Rayment said when he signed him:
" . . . we gave him a very, very good financial proposal Ė more than what Stamford offered. Itís wiped out the rest of my budget, if Iím honest."

Reserves were a little unlucky perhaps? No Jack Frohawk - injured or back with Dereham?
Not with Dereham, someone said they'd seen him at the ground so I guess injured.  :dontknow:

From Facebook:
Theres a school car park outside the ground or failing that, park at the railway station and walk over the Overbridge, takes about 3 minutes
( although you will incur a £2.50 parking charge here)
The factory opposite the entrance to the railway station entrance (RECO) has shut down. Space for a quite a few in their front car park  . . . failing that, street parking.

General Discussion / A different perspective

but a bit dated.
Just an alternative view to some of the comments put on here in recent weeks.

This comes from the Keith Chapman Open Letter to Public that appeared 2-3 years ago.

"I would also like to assure the fans that the reserves have always been wanted by the club . . ."
 and
"Bars and catering trade under their own account with all revenue being transferred to Lynn FC after accounts have been finalised"

Just three better then at this stage last season and I doubt whether the Boxing Day game with Kettering will better last season's FCUM gate.

As it seems to be championed by Keith Rudd on Facebook then I would guess it is OK.

General Discussion / Conor Marshall out for rest of season
« on: December 09, 2015, 01:17:38 PM »
King's Lynn Town has suffered a major injury last night when it was confirmed that Conor Marshall will miss the rest of the season with a damaged cruciate ligament injury which will require major surgery.
King's Lynn Town General Manager says ďSince Conor has been at the football club he has been first class and one of my most committed lads, he has had a awful six months recently with also losing his mother through illness, as a family football club we will be there to support Conor all the way until he is fit again to put on a Lynn Shirt."

The online previews for the EDP and Lynn News for this game are pretty poor. With Setch being full-time general manager you would think it would be easy for the press to pick up the phone and ask for the latest team news.
