Must agree can't see why couple of youngsters couldn't be on bench for home games.
Fair enough GS if they came into the squad SC would have to pay their wages instead of you and me and others paying them via our taxes
Possibly not but the question put by GS was to use fit again furloughed players

Why would SC have to pay their wages?
Because  you can't be furloughed and work for your employer at the same time so SC has to pay them as normal if they "work"

Are the under 21's employed by the Club?

Or maybe try flexible furlough where they work a part week or maybe 45 mins per game :-)

What i can't understand is why one or two of the fit furloughed players can't come into the squad. I think IC can only take so much with him not being prepared to be interviewed doesn't seem happy place at moment. Must agree can't see why couple of youngsters couldn't be on bench for home games.

Mr Cleeve surprised at 500-600 and blames the Government for putting the fear of God into people I think 60,000 deaths may be more the reason Mr Cleeve. Get real. People will not risk dying before the vaccine by watching a football match

Lockdown ends 12.01am on Wednesday, December 2
I have seen that too Nemesis and there appears to be confusion as shops/ hairdressers etc are saying that cannot or will not open until the 3rd
If it was supposed to be for 28 days it would include the 1st and 2nd
26 days in November ( missing the first 4 ) plus 1st and 2nd December  But can Boris count?

Being of a certain age (!) it's my personal responsibility to take all necessary precautions during this awful pandemic. Having said that, my physical health has to be balanced with my mental health and well-being. It's really a balancing act for the Govt. and their medical/scientific advisers. Provided we all behave properly in and out of the stadium then I will make every effort to come along and support the LINNETS. Heard on Radio Norfolk that the game for the 1st December MAY be moved to the 2nd to allow fans in.

Sorry Doug The 2nd December is included in the lockdown period

Looks like there is more money for football including the National League.
It all helps.

Nice one.

As I understand it those Clubs at Step 3 and below who are still in the FA Cup are now not allowed to train ( as a group) or play any games until the 2nd round.

Well, that seems to be completely pointless!   :dontknow:
The Marine manager suggested in his interview that had managed to get that rule relaxed
