Can't believe earlier today this would have been a concern one way or the other but I now have to ask the question - presumably Gyasi can't play against us next week?

Yes, it's been a strange day!
No  gyasi canít play against us ..
canít help but to dream of an exciting end to the season (lynn fans on the pitch v Wealdstone after securing survival) but theyíve set the standard now Ö we got a good draw and performance v Grimsby only to follow it up with poor defeat , letís not make Dover a banana skin Ö  :scarf: :bus:

I am afraid we won't know after the Wealdstone game Bluboy as the last round of matches is 15th May and it happens to be the week we are the 23rd team so we don't play that week and the other 22 do

I think the computer says "no" really

13 points from 10 games is well above our average this year so very unlikely imho

Mick  Maybe your computer is right Well done

Oh yes he was !

Oh no he ........  Good one Mallard

Looking at the Clubs latest posted accounts it seems our current assets looked very healthy to a figure of £600k.

Mallard, including long term debt we are still £286,000 in debt but it is £10K better than last time

30 years .... only 13 games left.  Itís a 23 Team League ( 44 games) this season, hence why there are only 3 teams to be relegated.

Indeed because 4 will come up , taking us back to 24 teams as normal

Its likely not surprising if this is true
I do not know Michael Clunan but as Mallard referred to he is in the world of accountancy
I believe he is at manager level with a large firm in King St
If you put yourselves in his shoes , he is likely to have  a pay cut at some point from the club when we go down
We may not be full time I realise but he would be far better off pursuing a long career in his chosen job
which will be much more lucrative than football.
How he has managed to combine the two in  this last year is incredible and showing good form too Well done
Apologies Mr Clunan if that is wide of the mark but I didn't attribute it to you but asked what we would do in those circumstances
Thank you

Be nice to see him back at NLN level with us next year

Stephen Cleeve
Huge month ahead of us in February - 5 vital home games. Everyone seems to have forgotten that since Tommyís arrival we have only played twice at home in the league (since dec 11) -  we can turn it around but we need to do it together - will be looking at as a club what we can do.
We have played the top 5 teams away from home - forget the gap, if we get 12 points in Feb and then we get just 6 in March we will be on 29 and have it all to play for. I think we can do it.

Ever the optimist B&G and I hope you are right But given we have 7 points from the last 48  sounds like a tall order !

General Discussion / Altrincham game
« on: January 18, 2022, 08:38:11 PM »
A friend has just pointed out that the proposed fixture next Tuesday against Altrincham has been moved to Saturday 12th February
Means only one home game this month and no more till 5th Feb
I guess that the 12th was due to be another Trophy round date Sadly of no interest to us now but better for being a Saturday Mr Chairman:-)

Fingers crossed for Saturday's game, weather wise. With frosts  forecast and then rain Saturday morning and heavy rain during the game, could be tricky.
