Brackley is a lot closer for Linnets fans than most sides in the National division, Grimsby and Notts County were I believe our LOCAL DERBYS last season.
Not going to start a row with you Mal but they are both closer to Lynn than Brackley

Agreed Dazza  Lots of EFL clubs have been staying at a certain level for years as it suits them Higher attendances, happier fans and a better feeling ( one thing Brackley is hardly a local derby its 97 miles away)

I noticed too there are several Saturday home fixtures followed immediately by a Tuesday home fixture which will mean cashflow issues for some

Some of those dates and days don’t add up.   Sat 1st is followed by Sat 7th is one example.

Agreed Mallard

Just checked the league's website and its actually  Sunday 1st January as its obviously a New Year's Day fixture list

Seems an HMP team somewhere will have a decent centre half in their team soon Pity to waste a promising career Rory

Most Football clubs at this level struggle financially.  The gates won't pay anywhere near the cost of running a club.

I can't see why not, with all these ex League players only wanting £400 a week!

Thats  an awful stat about him AXV  So he has only scored 30 goals in 10 years and we signed him?

These ex league players could earn more at the Subway down the road

Gold is allegedly on 900 a week? :bankrupt:

32% of his career goals(10years) have come under TW

General Discussion / Re: Who to retain
« on: April 21, 2022, 07:03:56 PM »
Assuming we are down a division next season, who would you opt to retain if it were up to you?
For me it's both Jones, Clunan, Barrows, Widdrington, Mcfadden (assuming he's fit enough to play) and Barrett (if he stays) off top of my head

Fair comment AKV and all a matter of opinion but can't agree about Theo W he is playing well above his pay grade
