General Discussion / Re: Points shared« on: February 24, 2024, 06:37:47 PM »Exaxcly B & G not that briliant after 4 weeks since the last home game Mind with 2 goals at home in the last 7 matches is it surprising? Shovel and barn door spring to mindDisappointing to drop two points after Tuesday’s excellent result. On the plus side we move out of the bottom 4 ( thanks Sport) and the gates seem to be on the up at 800. Can’t complain about the fans not turning up. 48

General Discussion / Re: Hughes next to go?« on: January 26, 2024, 10:28:41 AM »Tommy played well at Hereford, “putting in a shift “ whilst also scoring a vital goal. His reward? A place on the bench whist the headless chickens chased around like characters from a Monty Python sketch.Sorry I don't think it would have helped Hughes to come on at 3-0 down at half time He wasn't going to save the game on his own and would have depleted his confidence to be part of a drubbing He can come into Saturday's game afresh and hopefully help us to a better performance 53
General Discussion / Re: Barrett goes« on: January 23, 2024, 11:03:55 AM »
Sorry I see it differently
He is out of contract at the end of the season so could go free then anyway He has had a brief appearance against Warrington in the last 2 months so has hardly been in the shop window for offers Is he even interested in playing for us ? Did he think before the financial news we would go under? Didn't look remotely interested At least it frees up his wages for the two new guys and that seems to be more important at the moment 55

Can't argue with you on the consistency front Variation in results has been disappointing e.g Southport away and then the two Boston games

Yes there has Rod
Don't know how much you have seen , I understand you used to be a regular WE looked much better against Scunthorpe for instance and Warrington It was only the penalty early in the second half which killed the game yesterday WE played some decent stuff in the second half but sadly without much penetration We have definitely been more competitive even with some disapointments |
