Of more concern should be the prospect of games being cancelled, or played behind closed doors.

Why don't the trust lend the club some money to overcome their cash flow difficulties?

Its all self inflicted Stan. Don't spend what you haven't got. That's what most of us do. Surely a proper business overdraft would be the way forward.
Even if the Trust was allowed to lend the Club money, it would be very risky. With Club debts nearly £300k apparently, it could be seen as throwing good money after bad.

Keep up Grissles.
The Chairmans vision will not be realised, by a few oik's having a Mead & Turnip night in the Blue & Gold. Mark has been given a job to do, and this is the first step. Other non league clubs have such nights. So why not Lynn.  The 4000 York gate will have opened up a few eyes, to the riches, which may be on the path to the promised land. The majority of Owners who embark on this path, are not bothered if some fans are left behind, as others will be prepared to pay more, to take their place. It happens from the Premier League downwards. If promotion is achieved you can expect all match day costs to rise, even with or without revenue from television. It will be a necessity to match the big hitters above.
Enjoy it while you can Griss.

Think the interesting comment was ....

Because we havenít really got a board of Directors at the moment you could argue thatís a positive or a negative, and that might change soon

Does this mean the rumours of some outside investor coming in are true?

That would be a very big u turn for the Chairman if that is the case, as apparently he has previously said he works best unhindered.   :dontknow:

That depends on how deep one's pockets are.  :countingmoney:

Will this be in support of the Chairmanís ambition to add more barriers and to put a roof on The Tennyson Road end ?

All explained here Mallard.

Looking at the Oxford forum, the Marriott they're discussing is JACK Marriott at Derby.

I think the lads who sort the mini bus to a cracking job to be honest. It's a big job to sort a coach for all away games.as fans, like what we saw with nick Wiley at york., it's not really possible. It's the clubs Job to sort it really. Just wanted to make the point that it would be nice to have an official away supporters coach each week, I think we could fill it. Dont know why some of  you all have to take offence to everything, it was just a general point. I wont bother in future.

Up the lynn.

You keep bothering away, that's what Forums are for. Especially these unofficial not connected to the Club ones.

Thanks to all for making it one of those ' were you there?' afternoon's today. Tremendous turnout and effort from everyone. Please continue to spread the word and thanks again.

Thanks for popping in and for the comments Mark.

Someone just asked me how the bucket collection went today. I said I had no idea but would ask.

Any idea of the amount raised?

Also have you got the "named and shamed list"?

Fences down side too low and too close. Put one behind flagpole and the other behind floodlight column. Only a couple of security staff would be needed then.

With many people planning to let the train take the strain for the Ebbsfleet game,if possible why not meet with people at the station and form a group? This way you can take advantage of group rates, save a few pennies where you can? Maybe someone from the club if taking the train could take some football cards to raise some funds? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

If Mark Hearle needs an assistant, he should give you a shout Grissles. Always on the spot with good fund raising ideas.  :countingmoney:
