Not many positive comments there  :laughcry: :laughcry:
Think it is a learning curve for the club as that's the first significant away support encountered. York will probably be similar amounts. Worth reviewing the segregation...not sure why there isn't a greater gap between the fans and  need to check full and quick evacuation will be safe...also access to loos crops up a lot.
Be interesting to see what Lynn fans make of Boston's place in a few days time.....I know Mallard has already been this season for the Chester encounter.

Proper old town centre ground.  You could leave the Ship Tavern at 2-55 and be in the Town End for kick off. Nipping out for a quick one in the social club at half time. Ahh the joys of segregation.

Stan it was you who mixed racism with politics not me. So don't call me out after your political references have been removed by the moderators.  So Merry Christmas "wally"
No Marcus. It was the fan who called out to the black player:" Hey, we've got Brexit now!" who mixed racism and politics, 24 hours after an election. It's amazing how people who call out racism get more abuse than the racists.

"I think it's sad that you feel that calling out racism is politically motivated"  Make your mind up Stan.   :dontknow:

Hmm Merry Christmas Stan.  Fair play for standing up and speaking out. Your stance is commendable. But why wait nearly 2 weeks before speaking out. I would like to think, after reporting the incidents, you have been waiting for the club to conduct their investigations, before going public. But I fear I am wrong. I am not that clever Stan, only got CSE's. So can you explain the difference between "overtly racist nature &  implicit racism"  I fear this is a very badly timed, look at me attention seeking type of post. Which is designed to rock the boat.

Maybe time for all of those people who said they would happily pay £18 to watch to cough upi the difference at all home games, sure it could bet dropped in one of Stan's buckets? :dontknow:
and maybe some could put their money into the club bar and not the Napier:

Just the Lord Napier, or any other licensed establishment Stan?

If you'd called the post: And Now For Something Completely Different we could have got some Monty Python gags out of this. I think you're being a bit harsh about the Nantwich thread: there's some good stuff on there.
I don't know that this post will generate much interest tbh. Some may just see it as inane claptrap or perhaps a dead parrot.

Tell you what Stan. I'd like to see Mallard & Kes80 attempting the Fish Slapping Dance.  :laughcry:

Marcus, what is your opinion of posters, firstly not disclosing their real name and secondly would you be concerned if one poster had more than one identity and was using it to close down debate?

Not concerned at all personally Stan.  Have you read the terms & conditions.  Key points are as below.

"The trust admin have remained curiously and suspiciously silent on this subject"
Another day, another dig Stan. Very suspicious indeed.

"This thread could have been a very short one if KES80/Mallard had just revealed his identity; not doing so pretty much confirms that they are the same person and/or have close links to the trust."

Hmm,  What exactly is "close links to the Trust"?

I thought "Stan" was one of the more sensible posters on here, but not anymore after reading the following.

"I also now suspect that a certain poster with two or more profiles has close connections to the trust, which suggests that their posts are more in the line of trust propaganda than actual fan debate. I just think this is dishonest, manipulative and not ultimately in the best democratic interests of the fans".

After the recent good news regarding the Trust & the Club, is "Stan" trying to put a spanner in the works? Is he a plant, peddling someone else's agenda?  Who knows.
Any how, apart from the Blue & Gold Trust website and forum, where else would you expect to find "Trust propaganda"?  :laughcry:

I think the team have exceeded expectations by a long way so far. The club had not been developing off the field to any great extent for a number of years, as far as I am aware, before the Chairman's arrival. There has been significant progress in a number of areas, but the success on the field is now highlighting how much catching up is required in a few key financial areas. It seems to be that the club could do with a part time financial and marketing expert to really source and harness some new income streams......there is after all only so much that one man can do at a time.
With the gradual progress that is being made in building bridges between SC and The Trust, I wonder if there are people within the Trust who may be able to assist - I remember a number of years ago, when I was based nearer the club, there were some talented and experienced financial people within the Trust........I guess they are probably still on board (?)

"based nearer the club"?  move out of town?  :dontknow:
