General Discussion / Re: Category B matches. Statement by Mr Cleeve.

I wonder if Johnny Appman would have still complained about the prices had his best buddy been in charge at the club.
You've always got your beloved Corby Town now. Travelling there is likely to fetch you back more than 15 :laughcry: :laughcry:
you should remove your tongue from mr cleeves rear end ,15 quid at this level is just ripping off the fans ,not every fan has a job where they can afford that sort of money to watch a game

15 quid is ripping off the fans ,could understand if we had some big signings but we signing players from lower levels, price of food and drink and 15 quid entry is taking the pixx big time

Reading plenty of comments on various Facebook pages regarding the meeting last night at the club, seems to me that the bottom line of the meeting was just keep giving me your money? To my mind a football club of Lynn's size shouldn't be relying on a fan club to purchase such basics as corner flags and goalposts, it just seems to me that basic budgeting has gone woefully wrong, and the fans are being looked too to make up the shortfall? Not a single mention from anyone about anything that would benefit the fans, has to be remembered that fans have x amount of pounds to spend on the matchplay experience, which to my mind includes food and drink, and if people can get these cheaper en-route then they will! Not even a ball kicked yet in the new season and the begging bowl is being rattled! :banghead; :banghead; :banghead;
there's got to be something wrong with me agreeing with grissly,it is all about the club squeezing as much as they can from fans but not giving anything back to them ,

Well it looks we will have a solid and exciting youth set up for the future/ a new kit/ a new badge, but that won't win or get us promoted will it ?  :sad:
spot with this post everything looking great but culverhouse was still brought in to get us promoted

Culverhouse was brought in to get us out of this league ,what happens if come end of season we are mid table at best paying 12 quid to watch the same players as last year

One of those rare occasions I agree with you loopy, Setch was booted because we never got promoted,will the same fate await Culverhouse? After all he is getting an increased budget so should at least make the play offs? :dontknow:
well well well lmao ,so grissly we going to have a little bet this year on where Lynn will finish in league ,for charity of course

I can't even decide what we agreed on last season as the old forum has been deleted,did either of us win? I think we should decide after the friendlies? What ever we decide I think the winner should buy the loser a pint,in the Napier after the last home game? :cheers:
i would agree but I'm tea total

We will see a team who are young, fit and hungry for success. Goodbye to the booze culture is good news . There is now the opportunity for our youngsters to improve and progress in their footballing careers. Hope Leon fits the new culture on his return!
so we going to win promotion this year because nobody going to have a pint
