819 with about 150 from Peterborough. They were mainly academy players, a trialist and one or two first teamers coming back into the side after lay offs. It was still a good test for Lynn but they will be punished severely if they give the ball away so much when playing out from the back.

Lot of learning to be done but there were definitely encouraging signs

Almost that side, there was no Clunan out there tonight who I take was injured. I think he does need those extra couple of players, Michael Gyasi's confidence was very low and made a lot of errors in the first half, far better in the second and made the goal - chin up Michael! It was a Peterborough 'Academy' side really but they had some talent, pressed King's Lynn high up the pitch and Lynn made some errors under pressure in the first half.

Early days for this new side, normally takes 10 games at least to understand how each other play so a lot of learning to do still as the season starts but encouraging signs

SC mentioned last night there are 11 in the present squad that have another year on their contract but I am sure all is up for debate

It is hard to watch I must admit but these guys are not training together, have nothing to play for but some pride and probably are not giving that extra 10%, two relative youngsters in the back line last night. It has got to be hard for everybody and after the euphoria of the last two years this is a damp squib but the over riding factor has got to be conserving cash as much as possible.

Biggest highlight last night was Richardson's penalty save - I just hope we can get down to the Walks for the last game of the season - they are still not sure how many can get in.

Alfie Payne certainly adds something to this squad of players, always liked his style of play and is pretty consistent as well

Yes that one was top drawer and you always felt we were in the game and causing them problems throughout the whole game just needed their shooting boots on but the spirit was right on. The commentators were impressed with Carey as I was, gets into great positions, runs at the defence and causes defenders all sorts of problems.

Keep that up!

It looks like the league will not take on the debt and I am sure the clubs will not so it is either a suspension or termination of the season coming up

Nice to hear the crowd cheering on the team led brilliantly by Michael Gash. Looked more balanced on the left side of the defence - reasons to be cheerful on a damp Saturday night. Will be looking to attend in the New Year!

I am trying to think where all of their goals came from, the streaming was very poor, I didn't see Southwell had scored until the ball was in the back of the net. The first should have been cut out on the left before it came in to the area, two were from corners. We just look so open at the back and when we try to pass it around at the back it is just not quick enough.

Teams certainly seem to attack the left hand side of the defence with ease

Alex had improved significantly last season and without a doubt was at his peak - with the helps and coaching of Bastock I am sure. It is a real shame to see him leave as i think he would have not been out of his depth at this level and didn't have a chance to prove it. Wish him well for the future.

IC has a big job sorting out our defence in the near future as at the moment we look so vulnerable from any pace and when you make a mistake at this level you are punished.

Thanks for everything Pedro!

Yes had the same problem with the streaming when using the Safari browser. When i chose Google Chrome it was far better and as WLM mentioned very fair commentary

Chuffed with that win. Lynn were always willing to play the passing game that they are so good at and scored some super goals as well - thought they thoroughly deserved the win. There will be sterner tests than Maidenhead United in this league though. Jones has come on leaps and bounds since he started at Lynn
