I had to wait until April to see my first league win of the season, two draws and nine defeats before
I have to say there was a huge fight and spirit in the team tonight and i honestly thought Bromley would offer a lot more - they did have their chances and just didn't take them. Cheek came on as a sub after about 60 minutes and didn't really offer much.
After we went 1-0 up there was backs to the wall defending but overall the Bromley keeper was by far the busier - keep going lads we are right behind you!

Lovely to see and hear a win on Saturday
Stockport County last 19 games won 18 and drawn 1, we have improved so what a test. If we get a point I will start the hokey-cokey in the main stand
C'mon you Linnets!

Manager's Press Call
Clunan is carrying a knock McGavin not trained all week Theo Widdrington - out for at least two weeks

If you can ever watch the Manager's Youtube interviews on a Friday these are probably the most informative on what we have ever had on what is happening with players. There were problems uploading this weeks interview evidently but on the two 'new' players they were having trials this week and may be we would have heard some more on the video so who knows.
It can take an awful long time to turn the fortunes of a team around with the introduction of new players/systems.
We can but hope it works but I am under no illusion of the task ahead

I would have thought SC signed him - might be wrong, it seems that he signs players to 'develop' them and sell them for a fee afterwards

Positives, another clean sheet, conceded one goal in 4 games and one more point really needed 3 of course. i think Clunan is coming back from being unwell so may be why he was a substitute and was Linton still carrying an injury from the knock he got against Altrincham

You have it spot on Tony, we must have forwards who will score, it is as basic as that. Whilst Omotayo worked hard if you are not scoring in 14 or 15 starts then you are in trouble. Our top scorers are all midfield players. I think TW has sussed that bit out and was really frustrated with Omotayo's lack of holding the ball up consistently.
Nice to see a win though and Barrett's all round play
