From Home page:

This evening, officials from the Trust held a meeting with Stephen Cleeve and Robbie Back. The meeting was mutually proposed and the purpose was to discuss the potential for the Trust to work with the Club in the future. This was a very positive and productive meeting at which many aspects of the Club were discussed. The Trust Directors now intend to hold a meeting early next week to consider these proposals.
If agreed by the Trust's Directors, a proposal made by Stephen will then be put to all Trust members for their consideration and to determine their thoughts on future action.

General Discussion / Gary Setchell in Lynn News.
« on: June 03, 2016, 12:46:30 PM »
Gary Setchell says he is looking forward to enjoying a “very good working relationship” with new King’s Lynn Town owner Stephen Cleeve.
The pair have already met a few times, since Cleeve was announced as the club’s new owner last week, and Linnets chief Setchell has revealed that discussions between the two had been positive.
“I’ve met Stephen three or four times now,” said Setchell. “He wants to take the club to the next level, as do I as manager. “We’ve had some long chats, had a laugh and also talked a lot about the future at King’s Lynn.
“He’s been picking my brains on the non-league game and I’ve been picking his brains on his business ideas.
“It’s music to my ears that he wants to take the club forward and I hope over the next 18 months we can keep progressing.
“With a new man coming in I hope it is going to reboot everyone’s interest in the club.”
Cleeve spoke glowingly about Setchell’s achievements as manager after taking over the club from Keith ‘Buster’ Chapman and the Linnets boss hopes to have a similar relationship with the new Walks supremo to the one he had with his predecessor.
“I had a very good working relationship with Buster Chapman and I hope to have a very good working relationship with Stephen,” admitted Setchell.
“Stephen is very pro-active, has some big ideas and also some different ideas. He is a man with a plan. He wants to give his time and effort to make things happen.
“I expect him to be very much a hands-on chairman. He is passionate about football and passionate about this football club.”
Linnets fans will get their first glimpse of the club’s new owner at a fans’ forum in the Linnets Lounge on Tuesday night (7.30pm).
“I’m sure there will be some difficult questions for Stephen, but come and ask the man any question you want as he will answer it honestly,” said Setchell.
“Let’s get everything out in the open and then move forward positively from there.”
Setchell ended by paying tribute to Chapman’s six-year tenure at the club.
“The first I knew that Buster was going was when he rang me on the Monday night,” said Setchell.
“I was very shocked, but he has made the decision for his family and himself.
“He has been very good to me, but I just don’t think he felt he could take the club any further, what with his family and work commitments.
“Buster can walk away with his head held high and be very proud of where he has left the football club.
“He has left the club on a sound financial footing. During his six years as chairman, we’ve won two promotions and the club has gone further in both the FA Trophy and FA Vase than it ever has before.”
King’s Lynn Town have confirmed their first three pre-season friendlies over the summer.
The Walks outfit will play host to Spalding United on July 12 (7.45pm), Boston United on July 26 (7.45pm) and Lowestoft Town on July 30 (3pm).
Friendly prices will remain the same as last season, although the club is doing a three-game offer for £16.
The Linnets have confirmed the appointment of a new groundsman following the recent retirement of Maurice Bunting.
Martin Skipper was appointed at the weekend by general manager Setchell. Skipper has currently been groundsman at local Norfolk Alliance cricket club North Runcton for a number of years.
