Chairman pledges cup ticket giveaway to buyers of Half Season Tickets or 5 match package

FREE entry to the Norfolk Senior Cup Quarter Final
FREE entry for under-11s when an adult buys a ticket now available online
Christmas has come early for Linnets fans after Chairman Stephen Cleeve announced free tickets to the Norfolk Senior Cup Quarter Final tie. The free tickets will be given to anyone who buys either a Half Season ticket or a 5 match package.

The Half Season Tickets permit entry to all home league matches at The Walks in 2017. They are the perfect Christmas present for the Linnets fan in your life and can be purchased online here.

However, if youíre not able to attend all of the teamís matches in 2017, you can take advantage of the innovative, flexible 5 match package. This allows you to choose Grandstand tickets to five matches of your choice in 2017, at a discounted rate. They can be purchased online here.

The Chairman highlighted what a great offer this is: ďThe Half Season Ticket and 5 match packages are a great value-for-money option, so we are hoping for a significant take-up. We want to reward supporters who attend, as well as attracting new supporters and we hope that these offers will do that.

Once a purchase has been made, supporters will automatically receive a ticket to the Norfolk Senior Cup Quarter Final tie.

In another move to help attract more fans, Under-11s can now come to games free when an adult or concession general admission ticket is purchased online.

General Discussion / Reserves Narrowly Lose At Swaffham

Swaffham Town 2 Kingís Lynn Res 1

Kingís Lynn Reserves narrowly went out of the League Challenge cup last night after leading the premier side for 78mins. Lewis Curson opened the scoring on 5 minutes after a good cross from Alex Clunan. Lynn could have increased the lead when Curson hit a thunderous drive which clipped the crossbar. Luke Pearson denied Swaffham with a couple of chances in the first half but the Lynn back four of Fountain, Mcleish, Shipp and Ward had very good first half.

Lynn was awarded a penalty on 70 minutes when the lively Lennon who worked his socks off all evening was brought down by the Swaffham keeper but the resulting penalty was saved to deny Lynn going two goals in front. Alex Clunan then went close but the Swaffham Keeper made another good save.

Luke Pearson who had a fantastic game all evening couldnít keep out ex Lynn legend Jack Defty from equalising with a good finish. Lynn then unfortunately lost goal keeper Luke Pearson with injury and brother Ryan Pearson who had a good game in midfield took the gloves. Swaffham got there winner on 88 minutes when Nick Castallan scored from close range. Kieren Shipp could have equalised with almost the last touch of the game but his header was kept out again by the home keeper.

I really can't see what he brings to the table if you wanted better players to be brought in Dennis Greene would have been a better appointment

It will be interesting to see where Dennis turns up next. I'm sure he won't be short on offers.

King's Lynn Town facing punishment from the Football Association following flare incident during FA Trophy win at Buxton.

The club has been reported to the FA after two flares were set off before and after our FA Trophy win at Buxton United. We now await any action from the FA in respect of the incidents. Whilst everyone at the club appreciates the support we recieve thoughtless actions like this will not be tolerated and will only serve to tarnish the clubís good name. Anyone involved in any such actions in the future could result in being banned from The Walks.

Now back on the Clubs site that its all gone through.

Posted on 17th November 2016
This evening Kingís Lynn Town Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of Ryan Hawkins.

Ryan shared a few words on joining the club.

I would just like to thank Gary Setchell and Stephen Cleeve for firstly showing an interest in signing me after I asked for a transfer from St Neots, And for then working so hard in the background to get this deal done. Itís been a hard couple of weeks waiting for it all to be sorted but now I just want to get back to enjoying my football and winning games with Kingís Lynn Town.

The whole set up here at Kingís Lynn is geared up to win things, I had a plenty of offers on the table from teams in this league and also clubs from the Ryman Premier League, However after speaking with Gary and the Chairman they convinced me that Kingís Lynn was the club for me.

This is a club looking to progress; a young team who look to play football and this is a huge part of my game so of course this offer was always going to interest me. There has been some mention of returning to Norfolk and thatís why I chose Kingís Lynn, For me that is a bit unfair on Kingís Lynn. Setch tried to sign me before I went to St Neots and again when David Batch left last season, itís an easy game to play when you know you have the support of the manager and the club, The travelling to Cambridge was not ideal but not a deciding factor on which club I signed for, I spent a month driving to Newport and back so where a club is based is not deciding factor for me.

I have joined Kingís Lynn Town to improve and get better as a player and person which I think will happen under Setch, The icing on cake is that they are local to me so I will have some real home games to look forward to.

Iím really looking forward to meeting up with the team this weekend and hopefully Iíll be able to play a part in helping them maintain their winning streak they are on at the moment with another 3 points against Banbury.
