Margets back in training and could be in squad for Tuesday.
Another player could be coming in. Forward, midfielder, defender is anyone's guess.

The Margetts scenario seems tumble on and on. The lad Williams was brought in as a striker back up. Yet even with Margetts and Gold injured he still doesn’t get a start. Begs the question what is his role in the squad ?
For me it feels like we have a bit of a soft underbelly, have to wonder how fired up Lakeland gets his team. Win ugly is no crime, especially at this time in the season.
January was a real chance to make a mark as we had a lot of the bottom half teams to play. Rushall on Tuesday needs a massive response after today. AL needs to step up and earn his corn.

You seriously have to question our full time status and lack of fit fire power. Too many times this season we have been humbled by lower opposition that simply want the points more than us. 
Didn't AL say about 3 weeks ago that Margets injury was minor and he would be back by the following weekend?  Elsewhere it was reported he would be out for at least 3 weeks. Something doesn't seem right! It would be nice to know what's really going on or maybe AL doesn't worry too much about not having a decent striker in the team (or even the squad).

Ex Linnet Michael Gash's part time Turbines blow a hole in Lynn's automatic promotion hopes with a 3-1 win.
3 ex Linnets in Sports starting line up today.
With Chester, Scunny and Brackley winning, and Curzon and Kidderminster drawing, Lynn were the only team in top 6 to loose today.
Lynn now sit in 5th position.

With both Margetts and Omotayo missing, would have expected any loan player would be a forward. Good luck to the team today, predicting a draw, hoping for a win.
Getting a good forward this time of the season will be difficult and expensive. Would likely need to be someone playing at this level or probably even higher if they are going to bring something to the party. If Margetts is still out, then it's definitely what's needed. It will be a difficult task for AL to find someone with enough quality for the right money. Would they need to balance the books by moving someone on?

Is the recent Margetts injury a new one or reoccurrence of previous back injury ?
I wouldn't rely on this 100%, but I think its a different injury.

Got to give AL all the credit for getting us just 1 point from the top all without having an out and out goalscorer for most of the games. Imagine what the table would have looked like with a fully fit Johnny Margetts playing every game.

Nice to see AL mention Joe in the LN's article. As the Chairman didn't mention anything in his EDP article today, and with Bal apparently not being seen at the Walks for nearly six weeks, I was beginning to think the new investment had gone Pete Tong!
Apparently Bal was seen at the Ground yesterday but not in the Directors Box.

Interesting that we are looking to bring in a couple. What fans have to also realise is it’s not a one way Street.
As a successful side sitting 2nd top a few of our players are also getting interest from Clubs higher up the pyramid. One of which was on the scoresheet for us today.
It's not unusual to see one or two go if another comes in. Clubs are quick to point out to their supporters that they are looking to strengthen their squads, but not so quick to talk about departures that are needed to fund this. Nice to see AL mention Joe in the LN's article. As the Chairman didn't mention anything in his EDP article today, and with Bal apparently not being seen at the Walks for nearly six weeks, I was beginning to think the new investment had gone Pete Tong! So, is Margetts still injured or not? If not, why wasn't he in the Squad today? No start for Crane either? Gold not fit enough to make the bench? Strange set up today but AL got the job done again.
