If the main priority is to get the Club on an even keel financially, I really can't see how it would add up if the squad remained full time and also had all the hotel expenses.

As Mallard said, Cully managed it all once before so no reason to suspect that he won't do it again.

You shouldn't have what you can't afford!

Interesting question. Of course, just because part timers are not doing structured training with all their team mates as much as full time players would be, you would presume that they also train "out of school".

So fitness wise, there may not be a lot of difference. Tactics and other bits that come with being full time (nutrition etc), then probably twice as much.   



Maybe one of the program contributors could do a "day in the life of a player".

Corby Town have rewarded teenage midfielder Harrah Jones for his excellent performances this season.

The 17-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal that ties him to the Steel Park club until the end of this season, with the option for him to stay on for another season.

Jones joined the Steelmen in the summer, having made the move from King's Lynn Town where he had come through the Linnets' academy.

Despite his tender years, he has gone on to become a key player for Gary Setchell's side as they have enjoyed a strong start to the Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division campaign.

A club statement read: "Corby Town are delighted to announce that 17-year-old midfielder Harrah Jones has signed a contract at the club.


"Harrah, who signed for Corby in July after a successful trial, has signed a deal to keep him at the club until the end of the season with a further option for another season.


"Harrah has been a forefront in the side since he signed from King's Lynn Town's academy, and we are excited to see what the future holds.


After making his debut in the 2-0 FA Cup win at Sileby Rangers in mid-August, Jones has gone on to play a further 17 matches for the Steelmen, and has become one of the team's first picks.

If you think about it, this could and should be far better than the previous two times the Duo were here.

No interference from others that think they know more about football than Ian and Bazza.
