General Discussion / Re: Atrincham on Saturday POSTPONED
« on: February 21, 2020, 08:20:23 PM »
Could well be a another wasted trip, with the real icing on the cake being the Chairman has paid for an overnight stay.  That’s a few K wasted.

Who would want to own a Football on days like that

I have asked a Club Official if they are/were travelling tonight, but had no reply.   :dontknow:

Just heard back and there had been no plans made to stay overnight in preparation for tomorrow’s game.   :scarf:

« on: February 15, 2020, 12:47:35 PM »
Just an idea.

As there will be no gate receipts today, how about contributing part of the money you would have been paying, to the Ground Development Fund?

I know the game is only postponed, meaning that the cost of entry will have to be paid when the game is rearranged, but just an idea that some may be interested in.

Any idea of how many tickets have been sold so far? It could give an idea on how the supporters are currently thinking about the weather forecast and Saturday's game.  :dontknow:

In days gone by your club can claim expense's for a late call off, anyone know if that still applies?
I don't know the answer to this one but I guess the Club would, as they would know if they had to reimburse Alvechurch or not.   :dontknow:

Think the interesting comment was ....

Because we haven’t really got a board of Directors at the moment you could argue that’s a positive or a negative, and that might change soon

Does this mean the rumours of some outside investor coming in are true?

That would be a very big u turn for the Chairman if that is the case, as apparently he has previously said he works best unhindered.   :dontknow:

Great piece on the Club with Stephen Cleeve giving his thoughts on how far we have come, Ian Culverhouse,  Full/part time IF we gain promotion.   Ground upgrades  done, and still to be done.  All kinds of stuff.

Well worth a read(page 7)

Also there is an almost full page on Wroxham’s 2-0 win over Stowmarket in the FA Vase, with a crowd of over 1,000.   Wroxham go into Monday’s Quarter Final draw.

Chairman also said he wish he could give IC a contract for life and the next one as well!
