The Passionate Chairman furloughed key players and took out a substantial loan that may well be continuing to influence current operations.

Let's not confuse passion and a lack of financial prudence. Two different things there and it could be said that both apply.

Furloughing players. I think he also furloughed non playing  staff but that didn't stop them continuing with their work at the club.

The loan was always going to be a disaster. Didn't Cleeve say at the time that the Club wouldn't be able to pay it back? Crazy. Surely he must have had someone to advise him that it would cause problems going forward!

Did that happen, even if it fell on deaf ears?

Well we know what Cleeve thinks of his Club. I'm sure he would like it back under his control.

He must still have some sort of control of the situation, if not the Club. If that's not the case, surely TSI would already have moved him on and made him transfer the shares?

The only reason I can think of is that they are not in a position do do so. 

I believe that more and more people are coming to the conclusion that Cleeve is  going nowhere.

I can only guess that Bal was confident that he had enough say with Trust Directors that he'd be able to convince them to part with some money prior to shares being transferred.

I did hear that Bal had made yet another request for Trust money, before the shares transfer goes through.

I don't know if it's true or not but my money is on that it is.

I don't know what Business School Bal went to, but he needs to realise that's not how things are usually done!

Especially if there's a doubt that Cleeve was ever really leaving.

I don't know about that Peter (well, maybe not in the next few weeks), But it definitely looks as if we were fed a Porky and he's going nowhere soon.

I wonder if Jo is wishing he had never got involved, or maybe had someone else as his CEO. It all seems Rabbits in headlights kind of thing and its a much more difficult task than Jo or Bal ever thought it was going to be.

Some did find it strange that a successful businessman (as we are led to believe) would ever consider putting such a large amount into the Club. I'm still asking myself why? Whatever story did Jo fall for? Or is/was there another Agenda that we are not aware of?

Its human nature not to like uncertainty. Nobody can deny that Bal has created a lot of uncertainty at the moment, be it for Joe himself, the supporters or the players.

We are now only 6 points off bottom place, and the two lowest teams have a game in hand on us.

I feel a bold decision has to be made with regards to the Manager situation and Bal needs to step up to the Plate Very quickly. Either it's Joe (to the end of the season), or it isn't!

A "see how it goes" attitude is no good for anyone".

Or is it?

Money and balancing a very tight budget?

I'm not sure there's been any cuts since the start of the season (    ) but a 30% reduction from last season was always going to catch up sooner or later. Lots of money coming in at start of season with season ticket sales and sponsorship etc. (although the main sponsorship is probably being paid on the drip). The attendances appear to be holding up at the moment, but of course a lot of the income from that has already been had in the advance sales, so no real on going benefit from that. No idea if they are servicing the DCMS debt as they should be but if they are, that will be impacting as well. Then there's the small matter of catching up with HMRC. Lots of call on the finances so like any business, I doubt there's a lot of surplus. So if the budget IS tight, it doesn't come as a big surprise.

Jo also wanted his money back (how much that is and when we don't know) so this is potentially another draw on the finances, if not now then at sometime in the future. The "new era" is not going any different than the way I feared it would, and I'm really not sure what a lot supporters were expecting from our new potential owners.

On Joe, we don't know what influence the adviser is having during the game. Is Joe being instructed on what to do or just advised? Either way, it doesn't look like this idea is working so any money being paid out in that direction appears to be a waste. It was probably worth trying with how things were going but can we afford the luxury of sticking with it to see how it goes (both financially and with dropping points as we have been)?

Joe's should either be in full control or not. No half way house. I can't see the point of directing money away from the actual playing budget into this Adviser anyway (a luxury even if it worked), and the results since its been in place appears to back this up.
