On the subject of post match interviews I've not seen it posted yet.  Come on media department let's be avin you.

Unless of course JR is only doing post match on a 'selected' game basis ?

I still can't find an interview anywhere.

Doesn't look like theres been much activity from the Media team on the website recently. Next home game is still advertised as being v Kidderminster.   :dontknow:

Don't think people should feel to down after this one. Ok we gave up 2 points at the death.  8th place, with W3 D3 L2. is not a bad start for a team put together in a few short weeks.  We are going to get bumps in the Road.

Hopefully Jo and his side kick Bal will be satisfied with the start. If JR needs a few extra recruits in I'm sure Bal and the Trust will find a few quid to help out.

Still waiting to see who the new Director(s) are going to be.  Didn't someone say that was happening this past week.?

Questions questions
Give me no answers.
That's all they ever give me.
Questions questions.

Well, to cut a long story short..........

.................... and by this time next week a new director so nothing to panic about.

By asking the question, I also presume you have heard the rumour.    :dontknow:

Lynn share the points away at Alfreton.

An 86th minute goal from Hall Johnson looked like securing all three points for visting Lynn, only for a 91st minute equaliser from Fewster resulted in the points being shared.

Att: 538

Quick calculation sees Lynn drop to 8th (I think).

Re: email that's been sent out advertising Coach travel to Marine.

Marine is Merseyside, so its North West and not North East.

Lives in Norwich.

That's a long way to travel for that level of Football.

I presume he'll still train with us?   :dontknow:

General Discussion / Club Video

No idea how many of you have seen the video that the Club released yesterday.

Its from Rowe and his players and covers supporters behavior.

Will it have the desired affect? What do people think?

Did anyone spot the Elephant in the room?

As for Rowe, he certainly has put his full commitment into the project.  We want exciting Football with top level team.  He is achieving that on an amazing 30% less budget from last season..  Football is a very volatile business.  The more successful and exciting we are the more attractive the team looks. Both on and off field.
.

30% less budget? I know that's been said, but can you really see that being true with the squad he's put together. Personally I can't.

As he doesn't have a No.2 being paid, maybe that's where a big savings has been made.  :dontknow:

A 30% reduction on the actual playing side is difficult to see in my opinion. That's a HUGE amount! The Squad he's got wouldn't have come cheap, although I did hear (nothing official) that at least one of last years squad took a massive pay cut to stay here.

Another big win for the Linnets, defeating Merthyr 4-0 at The Walks for their first home win of the season

Goals from Gysai (2) Hall-Johnson and Crane.

Bookings continue to be an issue, with Wilson, Hall-Williams and Collins all seeing the yellow card. Head Coach James Rowe was shown the Red.

Good attendance figure of 1257.

Kick off was delayed due to Merthyr being delayed when their Coach broke down en-route.
