Seems like it was a good job that he decided Australia wasn't for him.

Interesting comment that Paul has said about not joining the Trust. I would have thought many would be keen to part of an organisation that WILL ( subject to approval) will have a stake in the Club they support.
Paul be interested to the reason why and others won't be signing up. Fully understand if you don't want to disclose the reasons in a public forum, but have to say in both surprised and intrigued as to why.

I've long accepted the trust being involved. Doesn't mean I'm in any hurry to join (not the only one to share that view!!)

Really good that Trust will be involved with this, which I'm sure will go down well with all supporters.
With the Trust now owning part of the Club, like most other supporters, I'm looking forward to even more community engagement. Maybe even in other areas and not just football related.
All in good time.
Good to know you'll be watching both the ladies and men's team going forward.

Had heard at the game that Marriott got a slight injury and that might explain why he wasnt risked. Long season to come definitely a marathon not a sprint. Think Lynns pace will frighten a lot of teams and Telford having been lucky to go ahead did they best to waste as much time as possible. Overall good start lets make some real judgements after ten games.
This "10 games into a season" theory seems to be trotted out every season.
How many points would be deemed acceptable at the 10 game mark?
17? 20?
You're quite right it does, but to be fair the 10 game mark is generally a valid yardstick to gauge how the season looks to be going. Trouble is, some, when they dont like the way things are going, will then say, "well we really need to see where we are at Xmas before judging" which is far too late!!
To answer your question though, if we are looking at top 2 then 21/22 points would be what we should be looking for, if its play offs, then 17/18 would be a good start.
Yesterday was very encouraging but did give me a bit of a deja vu feeling re: so many missed chances, as that seems to have been our achilles heel for quite a few seasons now.

Sad to hear Lynn Ladies are no longer - although they are still on the club website, along with Friends of Linnets.
Hopefully, KLSC FC Women can fly the flag for the town

I agree the Trust members voted in favour. Democracy as always should win the day. Let's hope for a long and fruitful relationship. Once Jo finally takes over the Club from SC.

Not seen a thread about this but glad to see the club are putting a coach on for next week's trip to Hereford.
From what I've been told there will be a coach going to every Saturday away match this season. I'll be jumping on as much as I can!![]()

I've been a Lynn supporter since the 60's , now living miles away, so only have to go on commentary and what I read on here. It seems to me that this era is the best professionally that I have known ...and that has been a few different Chairmen and era's. I just hope this manager and team can llve up to the expectations of the effort that has gone into the making of this era and hopefully we can have season that yields promotion. There are a few previous players who I could name who probably would relish playing for the club at this moment in time.
