Well done to the media team for displaying photos on the scoreboard of those fans who passed away during the close season whilst the minutes applause was taking place.

Well Quinn, you were right, Mallard focused on mostly negative stuff.
Marriott isn't the player he was before, he barely got in the Boston side. A colleague of mine and Boston fan said he lacks pace and at 34, isn't at the age that JR seems to want.
I was at parkrun this morning, along with 3 Telford fans. I said to them, we create lots if chances but don't take them. When we get better at doing that, we will be unplayable.

As has been said John, it's about opinions.

Can I ask what part of Mallards post do you personally think was negative?

I was under the impression that League and FA approval had been granted quite a while ago.  :dontknow:

Lynn start the season with a 1-1 draw against Telford.

Manager James Rowe booked and some unfortunate problems in the crowd in a separate incident which resulted in the game being stopped for a few minutes.

Gysai was the Lynn scorer on 60 mins, after Lynn had fallen behind in the first half from a penalty.

Has the deal finally gone through?

Apparently Jo is in the Directors box today. It would make sense if he's here to oversee the completion of the deal.

Would be good if we actually started the season with the new owners in place.

So best behavior today Lads!

With all the changes - owners, new manager and players, I decided to purchase a season ticket for this season, which is the first time I've ever done that.

Very slightly premature. Unless something is happening before kick off today, the owner is still Stephen Cleeve.

It would have been nice to start the season under the ownership of TSI, but the change in ownership must be very close now.

Yes 5-0 is optimistic, but I've always been a glass half full guy.

Again from the homepage "The last time a Telford team won a league game at The Walks was in
September 1967!"

In that case, 6-0 with a 2000 gate.

No pressure JR!   :laughcry:

I only have the 1 device, my phone which is always with me. Please explain how I change my details.

If you only ever use your phone, I would guess your Username and Password are pre-populated on it for this site. Therefore if you laid your phone down and someone picked it up and went to www.thelinnets.co.uk, they would automatically be logged in to your account.

As mentioned earlier, both posts came from the same address and the same internet provider. Therefore its highly unlikely that you have been hacked. Sorry, but the odds are really stacked up in favour of someone having used your device (i.e. telephone).

What details do you want to change?

If you just change your password, that should be sufficient although you could create a brand new forum profile if you preferred. You wouldn't be able to use the same email address as currently used for your current profile.

Please remember that if your details are pre-populated on your phone for this site (even if you change your password), and someone else has access to your phone at anytime, you could well have the same issue again.

Is that ok? If not, please let us know. You can discuss this further via a PM if you would prefer.

Picked my season ticket up yesterday. Incidentally I am not the Blueboy who initiated this post, perhaps admin can explain how 2 people can have the same username.

Thats a mystery, as I don't believe the system the forum uses would allow two separate people with the same user name.

As anyone else got access to your computer?

Both posts that you refer to came from the same address and same internet provider.

If your account had been hacked, that wouldn't have happened.

Maybe Richard can shed some more light on the matter.   :dontknow:

B&G you don't have to be all smug about being privvy to inside information.

The odd teasing hint is fine and promotes discussion, but tormenting people with all the cloak and dagger stuff is really quite juvenile and does you no favours. Planting little "I wonder if" comments is actually quite irritating, and I think it has been said quite recently, "no one likes a smartass."

This is where you say that if you don't like it, don't read it. The trouble is that you have to read it before you wish you hadn't.

I can't actually remember the last time you posted something positive. In fact you've been pretty negative ever since the result of the Trust decision to get involved with the future of the club came out. Any connection I wonder 🤔 ...or do I already know the answer to that question 🤔 ...

And some people's opinion change with the wind! You yourself have made plenty of negative comments when it suits you.

Honestly, I thought better of you, but I'll say no more.

By the way, I knew nothing about Kyle leaving. I never actually said that!

My post was in reply to someone who likes to think he's smart, is far from it He would be well aware of what I meant. He's just a know all kid!

I'll say no more on this matter.
