Bartley has not been heard of since playing four games for Malden & Tiptree last autumn.

Has anyone checked the Executive toilet recently?

Or maybe he's hiding under a table!

.........but I hear that he is a seriously bitter about his demise and blaming everyone but himself.

Well, he was always going to do that. Sure fire bet on that one!

Why would Bal want him around at all? Officially or unofficially, directly connected to the Club or otherwise? What will he bring to the Club? More importantly, what damage could be done to the Club?

Even the new shareholding Trust have said they won't part with any money while he's still involved.

I think it's fair to say that many do wonder why Bal is keeping him on. Has he still got some kind of hold over them?

He has the only key to the executive toilet. :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

Good enough reason!   :laughcry:

Think when SC came onboard and said he wanted Football League at King's Lynn was the start of things to come, or rather not come.  Everytime he came out with the latest big earner or idea that was going to put KL on the map, he dug the hole a little deeper.

He did get lucky with Cully though. Or was he just unlucky with Clark, Hughes etc. He was lucky he had the likes of Backie to bail him out and keep things rolling, on the field.

And of course, Cully came back due to Backie, and dispite Cleeve (or so the story goes).

Thank you for that Blue and Gold, please educate me.... where else would the money have come from? for definate...

I think you will find the Club wasn't in debt when he took over.

And of course recently, the money he was spending belonged to TSI.

Then of course there was the DCMS loan of £450,000 (I think).

OK, I'll go along with you with regards to the previous Chairman.

Thanks Stephen!  Thanks a lot!

Also Mal I think you will find if you read all the previous information that is out there that Cleeve hasnt been given a position in the new ownership but being allowed to pursue a commercial initiative himself that he had been developing. This may or may not happen who knows with Cleeve but I hear that he is a seriously bitter about his demise and blaming everyone but himself.
Whatever your feelings maybe towards Mr C... remember there would have been no club if it wasn't for him.... and blue is right...time will tell...bit annoyed that some posters are making stuff up, how do I know that?  mmmmm... watch this space

Why wouldn't there be a club without Cleeve?

That's what some were also saying about the Chapman's (a bit before your time methinks).

Neither statements are true.

In fact some were saying right from the start that this is how it would all end with Stephen Cleeve. Of course they were shot down by those who don't care what's going to happen in the future. All some have ever cared about is another 90 minutes of somebody else subsidising their Saturday afternoon football.

That's until the next financial disaster occurs.

With the Trust vote being pushed through the members PDQ, when is the full takeover deal  now due to take place ?   Anyone know if there are any hold up s ?

I heard they were hoping it would all be sorted by the end of this month, which of course is tomorrow.

If that's not the case, you would expect news of this and all the Sponsors names being announced before the start of the season, which of course is a week this Saturday.

There you have it direct from the Club. Ref McFadden. Nothing to see here so move on.   McFadden is going nowhere.

Best news for a while!

New Manager comes in, one player doesn't buy into him and how he does things.  Nothing new there.  Now if it was more than one player then that starts to become more of a problem.

McFadden was decent but if he is the one causing issues in the dressing room then Rowe needs to get him out the door.  Players come and go.

So do Managers if they don't deliver!

If a player refuses to play then he must be in breach of his contract and can be fined or sacked.

Maybe  :dontknow:

If your heart is not in it, or your mind is elsewhere, its a waste of time playing.

We'll have to wait and see what the future brings.

Rowes  past shall we say ( West Ham Utd ) he has brought to lynn and  has caused issues in the changing room , Kyle doesn't want to play for Rowe and he's refusing to let player go and if he did it'll be of his choice where

Thanks for that Blue. I understand what you were saying now.

Will Bal be happy with that? One of the top earners at the Club wanting out!

If he's still on the payroll, won't play for Rowe or won't be allowed to play, that's an unnecessary drain on the finances. Why keep a player in that frame of mind? Just the Manager being Petty or is there more to it?   :dontknow:

The financial re-set that's been mentioned won't last very long with issues such as this.

What would Eric say ?  Maybe another of the famous sons from there could stick a few mil in.   The purse from one fight would keep them going a lifetime

Blue.

Can you clarify something please? I'm a little bit confused.

Are you saying that Kyle is leaving, but doesn't really want to, but his decision to leave is based on his dislike of JR's attitude?

Thx.
