The friends money is still in the bank minus the cost of the big tv in the club house , where this has started about missing money is a load of barlambs so can we drop it. I will get to know how much there is in the bank through the treasurer

Well said Malcolm.

I'm sure the accounts will show what's come in and what's gone out. If people want to see anything concerning FOTL's money, it should be fairly easy to do a reconciliation between the accounts and the bank statements.

In fact, one without the other is not a lot of good really.

Also how would Bal know anything about it as the friends were wound up long before his involvement with the Club.

Whats that got to do with it?   :dontknow:

Just because he wasn't here when FOTL's were still going doesn't mean that he's not been told about it. It's money which ultimately has to end up at the Club and if its a few Grand (as rumors suggest), I'm sure he would be interested in it.

He's also been in discussions with the Trust recently and one of their Directors was also a FOTL's committee member so would have had some degree of knowledge about it.

With Bal's main interest apparently being getting money in, I can't see him just letting this one pass by.

Money that is ultimately due to go to the Club.

Presumably Bal is aware of it's existence and all the people involved?  :dontknow:

Good morning all.

This arrived via a PM this morning.

If anyone would like to respond either on the forum or by a pm to me, I'll be only too happy to pass your interest (or lack of it) on to the people involved.

If you answer via PM your names will not be disclosed. I'll only inform them of the number of people that responded.

:scarf:

Hello.
I wonder if you can help us please?
A few supporters are interested in forming a Supporters Club with the aim of forging closer links with the club with events and fund raising. We'd like to include the Ladies team and the Academy in this if there is enough interest as we believe these have been neglected in the past.
We have had a very brief chat with someone involved at the club and they liked the idea.
Before we go to a lot of trouble we wonder if you could help us by posting something so we can gauge the interest with the supporters.Would you mind posting for us and asking the question? We don't wish to disclose our names just yet in case there is no interest but all will become clear if there is.
Thank you.

The obvious answer is to allow for pitch prep.

The Fenmen must be ahead of the game on pitch prep then.

Well they should be. Their season starts before Lynn. FA Cup on 2nd August.

As I said, ahead of the game. Good for them.

Plus a few bob in the coffers for pitch hire.

Its all good.

Why are we playing Wroxham at Wisbech?

Is it a marketing ploy to try to convert some Fenmen to Linnets?

Does anyone know the answer?   :phone: :dontknow: :dontknow:

As a long term Trust supporter and business member, i'll support any decision the Trust makes,  but would like to be kept up to date.

No emails, no letters, no notification about any recent developments so hopefully will be added to the current mail list.

Kev

There is an agreement to keep negotiations between TSI and the Trust board confidential.

Basically it sounds as notification to Trust members is down to when Bal see's fit.
