Mossley AFC can confirm the departure of Bailey Marsden from Seel Park, with the midfielder joining National League North side Kings Lynn FC for an undisclosed fee.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Bailey for his dedication and contributions in a Lilywhite shirt for the last four years – Bailey has represented the Lilywhites 100 times, scoring 7 goals in the process. He recently marked his century with another man-of-the-match performance in last weekend's 2-1 win at Nantwich Town.

From making his debut in the FA Cup as a substitute against Lower Breck FC, Bailey has gone from strength to strength and has consistently been a standout performer for the Lilywhites, especially this season. After a season-long lay-off through injury last term, Bailey marked his return to the side this season by scoring a goal, making an assist and netting in the penalty shoot-out in our FA Cup triumph at Whitby – a game that will live long in the memories of Lilywhites fans.

As Bailey embarks on the next chapter of his footballing career, we wish him nothing but success and happiness in all that lies ahead, both on and off the pitch. On behalf of everyone at the Club – staff, teammates, volunteers and supporters – we want to say a huge thank you for everything. You'll always be a part of the Lilywhites family and you'll always be welcomed back to Seel Park with open arms.

Thank you and good luck, Bailey!

General Discussion / Re: Inside the Nest.
March 06, 2025, 10:38:34 AM
I doubt they realised that Norwich already use "The Nest" otherwise they maybe would have considered another name for it.

Having said that, what else could they really call it anyway?  :dontknow:

Huge gulf between the two Clubs as far as level playing at, support base and finances are concerned, so I can't really see that it matters too much.

Main thing is that its being done, and being done well.

If we were still called the Shrimpers, I suppose they could have called it the "Shrimp pot".  :laughcry:

General Discussion / Linnets drop to 7th.
March 03, 2025, 12:46:23 PM
With Kidderminster's away day demolition job of Farsley yesterday, winning 6-0, The Linnets now find themselves dropping a position and are now occupying the last play off spot.

Lynn now sit in 7th position, a point ahead of Curzon.

However, Curzon have 3 games in hand over The Linnets and also have a superior goal difference (Curzon + 18. Kings Lynn +5).

Very good result today and a big well done to Gold. Credit and praise were due, I'm sure that will give him a huge confidence boost.

O yes, just what he needed.

Missed out on a few, for whatever reason (probably money, primarily)

Could well be the case.   :dontknow:

If so, I can understand AL's apparent frustration during some of his post match interviews.

I did wonder why someone made a return to the forum when the subject of lack of signings was mentioned.

🤭

Don't know much about Warburton but decent goal record at a good level so look forward to watching him.

Next time I stay away from the forum, I'll check with your good self if it's ok to return. Nice to know you care though.

You've been away?

No need to ask. You're free to come and go as you like, and post your opinions. Be careful with that one though, as others tend to have opinions of their own.

Care? I don't really care if you post on here or not. That's entirely your choice.

Goal wise for Warburton. I think its 5 out of last 20.

Now the club has dished out the dough on him let's hope he rises to the occasion and earns his bread!

:thanks:
