Apparently the Whatsapp drums are banging this afternoon, and that's usually a precursor to a new signing!

What has washing powder and laundry got to with Kings Lynn Football ?

Should we ask the kitman?

:scarf: Afraid it comes down to accept what’s available and pay for it or go elsewhere or nowhere. If you add travel time and costs other alternatives are not so attractive. So that is the choice amen

Very few, if any, will go elsewhere.

However they will go nowhere, or find another interest.

Was it not Paul who was suggesting a big pitch overall had been planned for the summer months, which was going to cost serious money.  Surely that can’t amount to just a new mower, courtesy of Ben  Burgess ?

Just to confirm I said there was work being done on the pitch. Didn’t mention the cost (as no idea about that) or how big the job was.

And the pitch is having work done on it this summer.

That was situation last season so a 3% uplift for next season isn’t going to change that

You're probably correct, but don't you think something has to change somewhere, if we needs gates to increase?

Obviously we all suffer from cost of living increases, but lets not also forget that energy prices have come down by a large amount, and the Club has released/not resigned the most expensive players on the books.

It would seem, again on face value, that the club will be receiving an increase in revenue, at the same time as a decrease in expenditure.

I'm not saying that's wrong, but there's always two sides of the coin when looking at such things, and the Club does seem to only want to point out the things that are in their favour.

So a 3.3% increase.  Nothing wrong with that.

"Nothing wrong with that".

3.3% increase does not look too bad on the face of it but surely that depends where the starting point is. If it's too high to start with, the compounding effect just means it's getting worse all the time!

Any increase is no incentive when it comes to attracting new supporters.

And of course people will compare to other clubs prices, who may be charging less for a higher level of football and better facilities.

That’s a few part answers on 1, 2 and 5.  Keep
It coming

I seem to remember someone saying that No.5 was all in hand.

Maybe part of this plan is to just let the grass grow for a few weeks.   :dontknow:

2 full backs, 2 central defenders, 3 midfielders and 2 attackers still required if seriously chasing top 6.

And of course we need the quality, not just the quantity.

No good shopping at Aldi if you want Waitrose quality on the Table.

Unless I'm mistaken, the retained list includes Academy players. Will they be part of the Squad this season? If not we are going to need to bring more than 5 in.

WhatsApp drums are beating this morning which could be interesting.
