Well, Ian Culverhouse  "Say's it Better When He Say's Nothing at All".

There was a bit of "Booing" at Half Time - directed at the Ref I think - but Ian Culverhouse seemed not amused according to some around me. He apparently turned and glared at the Stands.

Any particular part of the Stand?   :dontknow:

With an increase in gate revenue and an amount not to be sniffed at as a result of the Cup run, why should money be tight?

Unless things are really bad (and lets hope they are not) surely there must be a few Bob kicking around for a slight budget increase.

I've just been speaking to a friend of mine. He had planned to go to the Fireworks display tonight, but said he wouldn't bother due to the weather.

I asked him if he was aware that the Club were opening their gates, and people can watch the display from the main stand and therefore not have to stand in the rain.

He wasn't aware of the Club being open, but should now be going with his Wife and child.

Just makes you wonder how many others will be missing the display, and are not aware that the Football Ground will be open.

Worth sharing with all your Friends on Facebook/Twitter?   :dontknow:

Lynn more than held their own in the Southern League premier in what was then generally regarded as a ‘fifth’ division to the Football League.

Very much so, and The Walks was considered by many to be "one of the best non league grounds in the country".

I remember him well, and as Colin says, a speedy left winger.

I'm 63 now, and think he would have been playing around the time I was 7 - 10 years of age.

Some of these Reserve Lads must be better at predicting the weather than The Meteorological Office!

Still don't know.  :dontknow:

Very strange that the Club has taken the trouble to tell Supporters  when and where the Ladies are playing, but still in dark about Reserves.

The League uses the FA website to record their fixtures and stats and that shows the match being at The Walks.

Leiston website still showing it on.
My betting is it will be postponed because of the rain.

Thanks, but that doesn't explain why a few of Reserves apparently think the game is off already!   :dontknow:

This is the game that's being played at the Walks, isn't it?

Is the Reserves game on this Saturday?

No mention of the game in the weekend preview although it's still on the club and league website, but apparently at least 2 of the players don't think there's a game on Saturday.

Do many people turn up to the ground for this event?

Yes they do. Well attended.

I seems to remember that opening up for Fawkes in the Walks first came about when Grissles suggested giving it a go.
