It looks as if the Lynn News have put in a Paywall on their articles.

Apparently this means if you read 5 articles within a certain time frame, you will be blocked unless you register with them. It's not unusual for the Media to do this.

Registering is free, so I've just done it and have had this email come through to me:

Just had a listen to AL's post match interview.   He was suggesting that crowd last night was under declared as indeed was Saturdays.

I guess a win is a win but it does seem we are struggling to score goals at the moment but we are tight at that back
he needs to have a word with his boss and get it clarified and come back to the fans about it

Would be awful if Worksop and their fans were allowed to travel only to arrive and the game is called off at around 7pm.....

Wouldn't it just .........tho if there were a sudden downpour at 6.45pm on top of all the rain we have had, what could anyone do.... it's just Mother Nature and beyond anyone's control

Pitch must be OK as apparently there were no plans for a pitch inspection.

With a further meeting tonight of the two teams would it not have made sense for both Clubs to have put out a joint statement to calm this situation down rather than each of them fanning the flames and playing the blame game.

Surely all this adverse publicity will actually deter fans from attending with the fear of further trouble kicking off again.

A pre-emptive strike?  :dontknow:

Is what is being reported actually each Clubs official position ?

Worksop are claiming that the Lynn report is an official club statement penned by Travis Wright.

Irrespective of what has been written (i.e. right or wrong), it must be nice for the Chairman not to have to get involved and to put his name to such things. Its good that he now has people such as Travis who are prepared to do this on behalf of his Club and that he trusts them enough to do so.
