otherwise if its too expensive, we may loose supporters !

General Discussion / Ticket Prices
« on: December 14, 2020, 07:14:17 PM »
It would appear that it will cost you 25 quid to watch the linnets ! This is a lot more than most National League clubs charge ! Sutton Utd charge 17 quid with a reduced cost for concessions.
I will not be going at the moment, not until prices come down.
Instead I will watching Heacham. Top of div one in the Anglian Comb, with Jack Defty still playing well.
Cost of just 2 quid !

« on: June 27, 2020, 09:31:40 PM »
We now have some serious competition for the goalie position. Archie is nearly 2 metres ! - so plenty of height there !
On loan from Norwich City (previously with Aberdeen).

General Discussion / Play off dates ?
« on: June 19, 2020, 01:04:41 PM »
When will the play offs take place ? I hope York City get promoted. They have the crowd and a new ground.
I went to York City last autumn, and was impressed with their support.

General Discussion / Dover

Fantastic effort today, with 10 men in extra time. We showed that we can match an average team in the national league. Well done. Hope Michael Clunan is not to badly injured.

General Discussion / New Defender
« on: October 13, 2019, 07:25:11 PM »
With 2 centre halfs now injured, there was talk of signing an additional defender. Is there any news yet ? Unfortunate iinjury for Chris Smith leaces us short at the back. However I was impressed yesterday with Ross Burrows performing a sweeper roll. He did the same roll at York.

General Discussion / York City away
« on: September 12, 2019, 11:19:02 PM »
Looking forward to the top of the table clash in a fortnight.
6 of us are going, and staying overnight. It could be like Warrington again !
A lot of beer was drunk that day !
We just have to keep going - at least we should be safe from possible relegation  !
