Thought Tom Ward was imperial Chris Ward tired but was good  Jacek excellent Shane McWilliams also good The Stratford number 2 was a disgrace rest of the team very poor we looked much better and Ian Culverhouse was vocal and encouraging :scarf:

Well fellas , seems like some of you will be eating humble pie for tonight's meal
Just because he has got the money does not make him innocent, he is a lowlife

Mike you will have to explain th bit where you say it doesn't make him innocent? People were so quick to jump when a court found him guilty, but cannot accept the decision of a court finding him innocent? :dontknow:
He has been bankrolled by his girlfriend and Father guilty on first trial cleared this one in football terms 1-1 The law in this country is becoming a case of money can buy a verdict

General Discussion / Re: SETCH

Your first post on this thread was spot on. Has Setch reached his zenith.

He has had a great run, level 5 to 3. Cup runs in vase, trophy and F.A. cup.

But imo please leave with honour and good memories Setch.
unfortunately have to agree think he has reached his limit ,agree he has been unlucky with injuries but we have needed a new player or two and nothing being done. Only problem is there a manager out there to takes us any further

This time around Quigz IMO has been player of the season so far by a distance and if we had eleven on the pitch at any given time who put as much in as he always does I think we would be in or around the play off places.
Totally agree man of the season by a mile if the rest of the team would put the same energy and will to win we would be in top half of league

Despite some blaming the ref,  we were poor today ! Lots of passes going astray, poor ball control, and umpteen balls up the air to nobody ! Cirencester were there for the taking,  They spent most of the time defending, with rare visits into our penalty area. They had one good chance and took it ! (Only there 12th goal of the season). We have to do better, otherwise we will be at best, a middle of the league team.
Not just blaming ref we were poor looked like a team that had never met before usual problem we can't seem to pass to our own players and having an imbecile for a ref just compouned the situation

Its the last Saturday home game for two or three weeks so lets saviour tomorrows game. I am looking forward to seeing players who have been missing for one reason and another, especially Kurtis the winger.
Cirencester are in the bottom four and will probably come to spoil, but I am hopeful that we can play through that and batter them and win it for young Matty. COYL!
Well that wasn't very good. Most of them played like they had someone elses boots on and I know it is usually a cop out to blame the ref but he was abysmal. Quigs got clotheslined in the first half and Kurtis had two penalty shouts ( one stonewall) in the second. My mate also commented that Setch was unusually quiet as well. Oh, and the ref was garbage, did I mention that.
I think garbage is quite an understatement he was abysmal. The penalty shout was a definite trip how that clown waved that on was amazing, still he missed most shouts so no surprise. Thought Quigs was man iif the match referee and officials need their payment with holding

You can rely upon the FA to always make the sensible decision?!
Kings Lynn away to Hayes and Yeading will be off the ground that Hayes share has an F.A.Cup match on the 15th so unlikely to be playing on that date

General Discussion / Re: King's Lynn Town v King's Langley
« on: September 28, 2016, 09:45:22 AM »
A game of two halves. A very frenetic start by Lynn with a lack of composure( missed  Mills and Stevenson for that ) and King's Langley came into the game and eventually they scored.
Lynn came out early for the second half and it was good to see Sam motivating the team. ( He had another good game ) Second half much better, but it took a long time to realise that Zacek is the person to deliver a good corner! ( He also had a good game) Danny grew as the game went on; good strength and pace. Good to see him having a shot at goal as well. Very energetic and enthusiastic contribution by Alex Clunan when he came on as sub. Good that Kurtis scored again, but for whatever reason he and Dylan seemed to go missing at times in the game. Good steady performance by Jordan as well. Overall, a satisfactory result and all credit to the opposition who came to play football and were a hardworking side and it was easy to see why they have had their recent promotions.
The football was palatable last night and the recipe has the right ingredients. Hopefully Alfred won't burn our cakes on Saturday!
I thought Jordan was man of the match for me never stopped trying and some vital tackles

General Discussion / Re: Hayes away - 15th October

According to Hayes & Yeading's website, if our match with them goes ahead on 15th October (cup commitments permitting); it will be played at Beaconsfield's ground as their own ground is still not ready.

We played Slough at Beaconsfield last season prior to their new ground being ready.
Remember it well easy to get to and not a bad little ground we lost there against Slough but let's hope for better if we play Hayes there

Thanks Robbo!!

I was just curious - there's nothing sinister in my question, just genuinely curious in my pursuit of Kings Lynn knowledge!!

Just waiting for the cup draw now.......
