We have completed our research into “fans” that have bought Under 16 and kids tickets it turns out that many of them are well over 18 and in some cases have been using Carer passes when going in alone.  We have a list and those who are guilty have one chance now to DM me
The list is around “20 fans” many of them well known to some of you anyway we won’t miss the revenue
agree to pay off what they should have paid (we may agree a payment plan) and promise never to do it again.  If you don’t we will name and shame those fans in the York programme and you will be denied entry to that game and future games.  It is not fair on loyal fans who pay

From Ossett United's GoFundMe page
"On Tuesday 12 November 2019 a court in Manchester found in favour of a semi-professional player who suffered a broken ankle playing for Radcliffe Borough in a game against Ossett Town. The league recommended insurance policy did not protect Ossett from damages or legal fees for the claimant should this case be lost, which it was, now leaving them with a £135,000 court order.

Not only does this put the entire club and the future of football in the town in jeopardy but also opens up the floodgates for all injured sports participants to successfully sue and win substantial money from the person who injured them and their club. This can then filter down to recreational sport like 5-a-side football where an individual can sue an opponent should they receive an injury during a game. This will change not only football but sports participation throughout the country at every level. Can you afford to pay a player injured at your club £135,000, because Ossett cannot."

Linnets chairman Stephen Cleeve said: "We have attempted to keep increases to a minimum and have done our best to balance this across our pricing structure whilst budgeting for a higher level of football, which will bring increased operating costs to the club next season.
"After much thought, we have introduced, a small charge to under-16s for the new season. I would encourage youngsters to purchase a £20 season ticket, which represents great value, as half of the games will be free to what our are future generation of supporters.
"Also a purchase of an adult season ticket produces a great saving spread over the season.
"We have what looks a very exciting season of football ahead of us and I look forward to your continued valuable support."
