Is the game still on tonight ?  I know it's only a friendly but there's been no chat, discussions, interest shown about it on this forum.
Wonder if Mr Sands will try to prove a point and score some goals for fun.

General Discussion / Run in
« on: March 17, 2018, 08:28:20 PM »
What an exciting end to the season this is going to be, with results going how the have been anything could happen, we've still a chance of overhauling Hereford , Royston are getting into a play-off position, perm any one from seven?

Let's stop all this in-house niggling and digging at the powers that be and get behind the team, don't worry about media coverage or lack of it, create own excitement, talk about it at work, in the pub, at school, at college, up the bingo, anywhere, try and get the town behind the team for the final run in.

Don't know if anyone's bothered but we've got quite an important fixture tomorrow against a promotion rival, it's seem everyone is more interested in talking about the hypothetical finances of Mr Cleeve

General Discussion / Groundsman
« on: September 14, 2017, 02:17:42 PM »
Slight concern that at this time of season the club are looking for a groundsman to look after the pitch. Would have thought that after all the money was spent on surface in close season a groundsman would have been in place or is current one moving onto pastures new.

4 points off em last season, one place above in league, this will be a good test on how much we have improved or otherwise.

General Discussion / Arsenal

I'm not an Arsenal fan, far from it, but what the chuff is going on there, they appear to be struggling in the Premier league yet sell one of their "better" players

General Discussion / Very quiet

General Discussion / Pen pics

Just read the pen pics of first team squad. Pretty impressive when you read them altogether, looks on paper like we've got a great blend of youth and some older experienced heads .

Let's hope they gel and play attractive, entertaining football and keep the crowds coming back for more.

Here's  to a successful and winning season

He appears to be getting a lot of game time for a trialist, is he trying to impress IC or are we trying to impress him hoping he will sign ?  Haven't seen him yet, will he do a good job at our level ?  :scarf:

General Discussion / Negativity
« on: July 14, 2017, 11:04:19 PM »
Get a grip fellas, the overall / general feeling on this forum focuses on the negatives, already the squad is not good enough, players are not fit, prices are too high, glasses are plastic, sausage rolls are overpriced. FFS we've had two 45 minute halves of friendly football and already the knives are out.
We've got a young squad, a manager with oodles of football experience/ knowledge at a good level, a chairman who appears to want to drive the club forward, a great support base, a ground most clubs would be proud to play at, we're still in all the cup completions, joint top of the league, a reserve team, a potentially great youth development system, Setch and Buster are in the past so be thankful for what they did for us , and move on .
Get behind and support the new regime both on and off the pitch.

Come on you Linnets  :scarf:
