Steve the work you have done on the pitch has been noticed by many.
All I ever hear is how great the pitch is looking.
Also its so nice too see Lynn playing the game on the ground and that's down to you Steve so keep up the amazing work you do and I for one take my hat off to you for how you changed it from a dumping ground for sand to something that resembles a carpet is a miracle.  :cup2: :cup2:

General Discussion / Weekly raffle
« on: November 18, 2019, 06:24:08 AM »
Random question.
Can't we do a raffle every week.
1st prize Vip match day ticket grandstand seated, signed program, Inc a drink ie coffee, tea in the sponsor's lounge or wat ever it called
And do a little write up in programme this weeks lucky winner was and have a paragraph or two.

2nd prize match day ticket and signed program.

3rd prize match day ticket Inc program.

1 a ticket may bring new people in and I for one would buy one every week. Have the 50/50  people selling them plus on the website etc.

General Discussion / Re: Warrington V Lynn
« on: May 12, 2019, 03:46:22 PM »
I was shocked at some of the fans yesterday. I was stood with Warrington &  Lynn fans and the Warrington fans was saying the fans who was causing the trouble wasn't regular fans and it was disgusting. There was a young 7 year old was caught in the middle and due to the crush and fighting he lost his dad I got him onto the pitch and kept him safe till we found his dad who was very grateful . The Lynn fans who where in the metal hut where giving it the the normal we are champions and you lost. When large stones bottles etc where been thrown at the lynn fans.
But for me it was with Warrington stewards that caused some of the issues. During the game several Warrington fans stood on the goal netting supports giving it the large one was removed by the police for a issue. But we all could see this was going to boil over but the lack of stewards was appauling Who ever did the risk assessment didn't do the numbers. The issue for me was the lack of stewards and no offence the lack of control.

I feel last few games Lynn have turned up expecting to win.
Biggleswade the lynn players where arguing amongst themselves and this looked and sounded poor Ian was screaming at them telling them to shut up.
it was a game we should have won and had the chances but we seem to hit a spot off bad luck. When we scored from the pen and Biggleswade was able to score 20 seconds later was down to stupid play and switching off. we seem to kick it around edge of the 18 yard box and give it away far too easy.

Its a case off if only.
I had looked at a few options in the past but wasnt allowed to live stream due to it could effect the gates this was when Buster was in charge.
Theres a revenue to be made in sponsorship and also in other ways and means with the video channel.
I know if we could cover every single game home and away we possibly could get a deal somewhere.
Look at it this way you could have a main sponsor with Logo on the whole highlights.
Some ads prior to highlights some half time some at end then more ads for the interviews or a main sponsor for the interviews.
Many clubs do it so why cant us at lynn.
I know if the equipment was supplied and fuel was covered we could get people willing to do it.
I will warn them two things you never get to see a game and secondly its time consuming but its great to see the end product.
I used to sell the dvds and had a sponsor which would help with my costs through the season.
I know it be a great asset to the club manager to have a video off every game for training and to see a different view off the game.

I know the time from when I did it and the commitment needed. Wasn't about been paid it's more the equipment required. You need a very good camera look at Saturday they had 2 grand camera and then equipment for video rendering is costly. With the wear and tear on equipment is the problem.
If we had means to cover these costs I know many would consider doing it.

Next season will we have the mascot that was meant to happened this season as this could be a great revenue for advertising on the mascot. Home and away it would get the fans going.
Highlights is that gone I've messaged the chap who was doing it and I for one know how much time it takes. But had no reply. I enjoyed the highlights he was doing.  What are the plans for next season for videos and interviews.

I've message the chap who did the highlights and heard nothing back. Anyone else knows if he's still doing it. I know it's a thankless job but I for one enjoy the highlights he produced. I know he also works and some Saturdays he can't do etc.
