The Blue & Gold Trust initiated Season Ticket Competition has attracted great interest with 66 entrants to date.
With only 2 weeks to go, time is running short for you to have the chance to win an adult Season Ticket (Ground) which would cost £380.
Entry into the competition is £10 and multiple entries are allowed. 
The winner will be selected on Monday the 10th of August 2020. Remember all proceeds will go to the Ground Development Fund (GDF). 
Details of the GDF and its purpose can be found by clicking on the thermometer on the homepage of this website and to enter please use the PayPal button on the home page.
Alternatively entries can be made by cash or cheque, and sent to The Blue & Gold Trust, 39 King John Avenue, King’s Lynn PE30 4QB.
All entrants should include their contact details and annotate entries as for the Season Ticket Competition. 
Have a go and in doing so you will support the GDF.

The Trust is delighted to confirm that interest in the new Ground Development Funding competition to win a season ticket has been exceptional with 23 entries as of today. We would also like to stress that any monies raised for the fund will only be spent on ground grading works and not given directly to the Club. On the last occasion the money raised was sent to Stadium Solutions who manufactured and installed the new turnstiles as sourced by the Trust and who then passed on the relevant information to Stephen.

With the fantastic news that The Linnets have been promoted to The National League, success comes at a cost.
Much work was done last season to achieve the ground grading requirements for the National League North, and a Blue & Gold Trust fundraising effort
raised in excess of £4,000 towards these costs.
Promotion means that much more works will have to be done over the next season to satisfy the ground grading requirements of the National League.
The B&G Trust already have a fundraising initiative as can be seen on this website.
The Trust is now running a competition in an effort to raise further funds for the GDF.
The winner of the competition will win a ground season ticket for the 2020/2021 season.
The season ticket will be purchased by monies generously donated by local business and individual supporters who make up part of our football community.
Each entry into the competition will be at £10 each.  Multiple entries can be made.
Payment for entry can be made via the PAYPAL tab on the home page.  Alternatively, payment for entry by cash or cheque can be forwarded via post to The Blue & Gold Trust, 39, King John Avenue, King’s Lynn PE30 4QB.  Cheques must be payable to the Blue and Gold Supporters’ Trust.
All purchases must clearly be identified as for “Season Ticket Comp”, and contact details included.
All entrants will receive acknowledgement of their payment and all proceeds from the competition will go to the GDF.
The competition will conclude on Monday the 10th of August 2020.

Donations towards the GDF can also be made via PAYPAL by clicking on the GDF Thermometer on the home page or by cheque/cash as above.
Again, any donations must be clearly identified as “GDF donation”.

The Blue & Gold Supporters’ Trust are delighted to hear of the promotion of King’s Lynn Town FC to the National League.  Many congratulations to all involved, and we look forward to football getting back to some form of normality and the challenges that the new season will bring.

Michael Gash has committed himself to the club for the coming season.
Gash, who will be 34 in September, signed in July 2017 and has made 130 appearances for Lynn, scoring 36 goals.

Morning Steve had a email/ring round all the Trust directors yesterday and not withstanding that anything proposed would have to put to members for final vote there is no consensus to lend Lynn f c any monies from the Trust. The only possible way anyone would consider this as an option would be if security for any loan was provided by way of a charge over the lease from the council for the ground, which would be included in a legal agreement confirming details of the loan. Also we would have to add our legal costs to the loan amount.
I fully understand how the situation we now all face is beyond our control and of course as you said in a conversation yesterday the financial implications will continue into next season. My only concern from our conversation is you seem to be focused on further developing the club into a higher league, new training ground, even a new ground when the current reality is survival of the club.
The problem for most people is we have little insight to your or the clubs financial well being and only you have the ability to make or effect such decisions, which will inevitably lead people to be concerned. The " trust me I have clubs interests at heart have long worn out at Kings Lynn " nevertheless I sincerely hope you can find a way through this crisis as in your own style you have achieved a lot with the club in a short time.
The idea that we are waiting for the club to fold so we can take over is ludicrous, we have aims we wish to achieve and these have remained the same for ten years since formation. Some would say the Trust is being prudent in retaining all its monies for the future in the event of you sadly not being able to find a way forward so all opinions from our directors and members must be taken into account.

Sunday the 25th of August 2019 marked the 10th anniversary of the formation of The Blue & Gold Supporters’ Association (AKA The Trust).  The Trust was formed to provide a vehicle for giving the supporters of King’s Lynn Football Club (now King’s Lynn Town Football Club) a formal involvement in the running of their club.  Sadly, it was very shortly after this date that saw the demise of KLFC as a High Court winding-up order was issued due to an unpaid tax bill of £77,000.
KLTFC is currently riding the crest of a wave and producing some fantastic and entertaining football, and long may it continue.  Whilst The Trust has its own clear objectives, we have recently raised funds in excess of £4,000 towards the cost of ground grading requirements necessary to compete at step 2 football. In agreement with Stephen Cleeve, these monies have been forwarded to the manufacturer of the new turnstile units. However, the current ownership model still does not allow for “formal” supporter involvement in what happens at the Club.  Notwithstanding, The Trust will continue in its quest to meet its aims which are clearly detailed on this website.
The Directors of The Trust would like to take this opportunity to thanks all who have supported the Trust over the past 10 years.  The membership, those who have sponsored the website and various fundraising activities.  Thanks to those businesses who have advertised on the website and to those who have provided prizes for raffles etc. Thanks to those who have supported the monthly Linnets Lotto. Whilst membership numbers have remained steady, it is pleasing to note that very recently we have gained a number of new members.  To you all, your support has been gratefully received.

Ground Development Fund (GF) – Update
The Trust has received communication from Stephen Cleeve expressing his appreciation for our fundraising efforts towards the GDF.  He further informed us that he has ordered the additional turnstiles required to meet the new ground grading standards.
He also attached an invoice for the required deposit.
You will be aware that it was agreed that any funds raised in the GDF (£4,052 at the time of writing) would be used towards the purchase of these turnstiles.
To that end, The Trust has forwarded a cheque for £4,052 to Stadium Solutions who will manufacture the turnstile units.
This sum covers the required deposit less the VAT.

The Quiz night organised by the Blue & Gold Trust on Friday the 28th of June at the Football Stadium was a great success.
 A big thankyou to the 47 people who participated in the quiz and to those who supported the raffle and who made donations to the Ground Development Fund (GDF) on the night. The event raised a total of £431:50 for the GDF. 
A special thanks to Barrett Batchelor Mortgage Services and ARC Fabrications (King's Lynn) for sponsoring the event. 
Thanks also to Richard Simper for preparing the tables etc, and to Zoe for serving behind the bar. Thanks also to those who donated raffle prizes.

The Blue & Gold Trust in conjunction with King’s Lynn Town Football Club are holding a quiz night in the bar at The Walks Football Stadium on Friday the 28th of June 2019. All proceeds will go to the Ground Development Fund (GDF).

Doors open at 7pm with the quiz starting at 7:30pm.  Entry will be £4 per head with teams of up to a maximum of 4 people.  The winning team will receive a cash prize of £50.

A raffle will also be held, and any donations towards raffle prizes would be gratefully received.

Even if you do not wish to participate in the quiz, come along to have a chat or drop in with your donation to the GDF. 

The Trust is also planning to hold a sale/auction of KLFC/KLTFC, or any football memorabilia.  Again, any donations towards the sale/auction would be gratefully received.  We already have in excess of 300 programmes starting from the 1962/62 season.  Again, proceeds will go to the GDF.

On Thursday the 23rd of May, two Trust Directors had a very positive meeting  with Stephen Cleeve to discuss the implementation of the improvements to the ground necessary to meet with the FA Ground Grading Requirements. A rough estimate suggests that these improvements will cost in excess of £30,000.  The priority is the installation of turnstiles in the area to be designated for the segregation of away fans on match days when this is deemed necessary.  The cost of a double turnstile unit is £6,700 plus VAT, plus the costs of installation such as a suitable hard-standing and connection to a mains electricity supply.  It was agreed that the GDF would be used towards the purchase of these turnstiles.  The fund currently stands at £3229.14.  Many,  many thanks to those who have already contributed to this total.  It would be fantastic if this total could be increased  in order to further subsidise the cost of the turnstiles.  To find out more on the GDF and how to donate, click on the thermometer on the home page.
