As promised we are happy to give supporters an update on the essential work being undertaken to the stand. With regard to donations these have now reached £1000 and we would take this opportunity to thank everyone who has kindly supported the Trust in this endeavour.
This week a further two rows of seating that were ' taped off ' have been completed and will be available for fans to use tomorrow for the Marine game. On a practical level the work to these two badly effected rows involved up to 80% of the floorboards being replaced and virtually all the joists either being replaced or further strengthened. With the old floorboards removed the joists have been treated against any new potential woodworm infestation.
We have also received a donation of the timber floorboards required for this work from a local business for which we extremely grateful.
However, the money donated so far will not cover the eventual total cost of materials so any additional donations will be welcome. The work is being completed without any labour costs to the Club.

As always the Trust are happy to be as open as possible and members will always be a priority when it comes to information. To date there have been donations totalling £400 which is gratefully received. We have been asked as to how much the work will cost but it is very difficult to give an accurate figure as the extent of the woodworm damage is only discovered when affected parts of the stand are revealed. Good progress has been made and one section of the stand which had restricted use is now fully available. When the repair work is finally completed the whole stand will require spraying to avoid further infestation in the future. The stand is 70 years old in August 2026 and has served the Club and its supporters well. Our support financially or otherwise should be the least we can do.

As some of you may be aware, the main stand at the Walks Football Stadium is now over70 years old and like much of the stadium, requires ongoing repair and maintenance to ensure it remains safe and fit for purpose.
In recent years there has been understandable concern regarding areas of disrepair around the ground, in particular the condition of the Main Stand.

In November 2022 ahead of the FA Cup tie with Stevenage, a ground inspection revealed areas of unsafe flooring within the Main Stand. Temporary works were carried out to ensure the fixture could proceed safely. A subsequent structural survey that the problem was caused by woodworm. Since then, the need for a permanent solution has remained, with remedial work underway. .
More recently, representatives of The Blue and Gold Supporters' Trust have been working alongside the football club and have attended meetings with Council safety officials to help facilitate a permanent solution to this long-standing issue. This work is ongoing to have this issue resolved as soon as possible. .
These ongoing maintenance requirements come at significant cost. The timber alone to carry out these repairs to the Main Stand represents a significant expense.
To help meet these ongoing costs and in turn allow more of the club's resources to be directed towards football operations, The Blue and Gold Supporters' Trust and the club have jointly launched a Ground Maintenance Fund. The Trust will administer the fund and ensure that every donation is used solely for essential ground repair and maintenance projects. .
The main stand has served generations of Linnets supporters for over 70 years. As it reaches this remarkable milestone, we have an opportunity to give it the birthday present it deserves and help protect it for future generations. .
Supporters may remember that the Trust's previous Ground Development Fund successfully helped finance the purchase of the turnstiles at the Seven Sisters end of the ground as well as the St John Ambulance portacabin. We hope this new initiative can once again demonstrate what can be achieved when supporters come together behind their football club. .

 A quick reminder of the upcoming Fans' Forum to be held in the Executive Lounge at The Walks Stadium on Friday the 12th of June starting at 6:30pm.
 
A further call for volunteers to attend a working party at the football stadium on the weekend of the 13th/14th of June. If you are able to give up a few hours of your time to help prepare the stadium for the new season, it would be great to see you there.  Just turn up at the ground from 9am on either or both the Saturday and the Sunday. There will be many tasks that need doing such as general cleaning, painting and minor maintenance. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
 
Volunteers are important to any football club, and KLTFC is no different.  The Club is seeking more volunteers to help on matchdays.  In particular, additional volunteer stewards are required to help out on the 2 hours prior to kick off on matchdays.  If you are able to help, please contact the club direct.

The Blue and Gold Supporters' Trust Annual General Meeting will be held this coming Thursday the 26th of February 2026 at in the Cafe at  King's Lynn Town Football Club.
Doors will open at 7pm and the meeting will commence at 7:30pm.
All Trust members are encouraged to attend.

The Blue & Gold Christmas Draw was held in the Lord Napier on the 26th of December 2025 . 
Many thanks to the management and staff at The Lord Napier for hosting the draw. The winners are listed below.  As Chairman, I would once again wish to thank all who participated in yet another successful draw.

    The Trust is working hard to engender a positive working relationship with the new owners of King's Lynn Town Football Club and distances itself from the negative comments posted on the fans' forum by a very few individuals who do their best to discredit the football club and individuals working hard behind the scenes.  When things go awry, it needs all genuine fans of the club to come together to get things back on track.  The Trust will not discuss its business on any open forum and will keep its members updated on all developments as and when appropriate.  This will be done on an individual basis, and again if and when appropriate will be published on the website.

    It is hoped that a members information bulletin will be forwarded to all members in the very near future to inform them of developments that are taking place.

The Blue and Gold Supporters' Trust is a Community Benefits Society whose purpose is to act as a vehicle through which a balanced and constructive relationship between the football club and its supporters is developed.  The business of the Trust is to be conducted for the benefit of the community served by the Club, and not for the profit of Trust members.
Membership of The Trust is open to all supporters of King's Lynn Town FC.  The rules of The Trust are written in line with the Model Rules approved by the Football Supporters' Association.  Trust accounts are scrutinised annually by the Financial Conduct Authority.
A recent poll of members agreed to purchase a shareholding in KLTFC, which sees The Trust achieve one of its main aims; to have formal representation in the running of the football club.  This, in effect, sees Trust members become part owners of KLTFC.
Under the new ownership of Turn Sports Investments (TSI), the club has made a positive impact within the local community and The Trust aims to develop a strong working partnership with TSI.
We would encourage as many supporters as possible to join The Trust and help develop the formal working relationship in the Club and strengthen the influence of you, the fans.

Trust Members Vote re: Shareholding
Firstly, can we take this opportunity to thank all members who took the time to consider the proposal put to them.  We know that this was going to be a big decision and would dictate the future direction of the Trust.

We can now report that 93 (73%) of the Trust membership submitted their vote.

The results of votes cast are:
77 (82%) voted to support the proposal
16 (17%) voted to reject the proposal.

This means that the Trust Board now has the mandate of the membership to complete the purchase of shares in the Club.  We will shortly be holding a board meeting to discuss the progression of the process and we will of course report back to the members when this is completed.

The reset at KLTFC is well underway with a real buzz around the ground and indeed the Town.  A marked increase in pitch-side advertising and the recently announced partnership with Alive Leisure are real positive outcomes and show TSI's commitment to engaging with the local community.  In addition, an announcement of a new major sponsor at the Club is imminent.
