I saw Clifford was back in for the last game. Was that cos we were low on defensive numbers or his loan spell having run it’s course. If Lakeland can get Barrow in then Ronan is gonna struggle. Still think we can do better if Barrow doesn’t join in the summer.
Agree re- Hargreaves. Really surprised TW didn’t come sniffing after him last summer. Then again he did take Junior. Nepotism over common sense there it would seem.
Lord, what’s your thoughts on Coulson, can he do another season at this level ? I guess it depends who he gets partnered with.
Mallard, sorry for the delayed reply to your question regarding Coulson, Think he could still play a part in the squad, I think signing Greg Taylor could be key as I think hes tightened up the back line. BUT maybe AL might ditch the 5 at the back..

Thanks for the info LM. Not sure that Lakeland fancies Clifford ( was loaned out).Under contract players can still be moved on. No point in keeping them onboard if they don’t figure in the plans. Not sure the other two mentioned would help you get to the play offs.
Interesting summer.
Oh yes, well aware about that, Clifford started at Spenny Saturday and got a nice cut for his troubles. Think Ronan might stay as was impressed with his perfomances towards the end of the season before injury. Like i said keeping Hargreaves is the big priority

missing a few contracted players there Mallard. I'm sure Ronan, Clifford and Cybulski have another year. The main incentive for AL is securing a deal for Cameron Hargreaves, The squad needs a massive rebuild, Better recruitment is certainly needed and a good strong positive pre-season, judging by AL comments lately the players certainly didn't have that. Certainly one to forget this one. In the end it was job done. AL has an important couple of months ahead in terms of recruitment. Which of the Lynn owned players would you keep for next season Jones McFadden Hargreaves Walker (a given) Margetts Crowe Stephens Hughes

Buxton’s win at Chester tonight shows how disastrous our dropping of two points was at the Silverlands last Saturday.
Stephens had no need to make that tackle, giving AL a tactical headache at half time.
The Linnets outstanding player in the first half was Rogers, easily the most creative player on the field.
So what does AL do? Takes Rogers off and Buxton’s manager can’t believe his luck. Into the second half and we take
Hughes off ,leaving no creative playmakers on the pitch. Predictably we surrender mid field and it's like the battle of
the Alamo. Two goals conceded and almost a third in the last minute.
We will be relegated if we don’t keep skilful playmakers on the pitch and we still desperately need a striker.
The discarding of skilful players is becoming a trend with AL. This is worrying because without playmakers we will be
relegated. Nice to praise the 100% runners but look how many points we’ve dropped with a team full of runners and
no playmakers. Could it be that the differences between AL and JB will ultimately get us relegated? Surely not? Stop acting like kids and sort it out like grown men. Time to put the team first!
Rogers was replaced at half-time due to injury. (calf problem) hope this helps

I'm on the understanding that the covers can no longer be used.

It is Rod when you consider Tommy is more than happy to engage with the fans through a twice weekly interviews. Well I say twice but it’s hard for him to do a post match interview on away games when there is no one there from the Clubs media team.
I can't see the Clubs Media team having to work too hard for their money this week, as I'm sure the likes of Look East and About Anglia will be knocking the clubs door down for a story, without even needing to be invited.
Milly tweeted earlier that he's not being allowed in the Press Box on Saturday as he's being replaced by what he calls a "one game wonder". Guess that must be one of the big National Papers wanting a seat.
Mixed feelings on this one. National coverage for the Club is not to be sniffed at, but equally to relegate someone from the Press Box that represents one of our local publications (and a local business), and is reporting from the games and raising the profile of the Club week in week out, seems a bit harsh.
Apparently this is a Media Team decision, not one made by the Chairman.
See somebody is clearly lying to me then, As I was told yesterday its a decision made by Mr Cleeve and nothing to do with the so called club media, But still I'm not surprised to be honest, Always quick to oust those that give the club coverage. Just short of 1,000 miles covered this month to give coverage and publicity. But its all good for the one game wonders to come and take peoples places. Shame we didn't see them at Scarborough and Southport, would of saved me a job!

Milly do you actually attend every game, home and away ? If so makes perfect sense for the club to hand it over. Reg seems to need all the help he can get.
Can’t do all games due to my county darts commitments, I’m the chairman of Norfolk Darts, so once a month I miss a game. But stlll cover more than the current football club media team.

He should give you the log on details to the clubs twitter account acount and pay your entry or give you one one of the complimentary tickets when away.
Simple trade off.
I have to apply for myself for YLP anyway.
OK, so how about the paper and the club doing a deal where the YLP becomes the official match reporter and use the clubs twitter feed, with mentions? It has a far greater reach than the papers sports feed, and you would make it a decent 'live' feed during matches.
That’s a conversation that needs to happen between the powers that be.
Let's hope that the Media team gets onto it. Worth a try, even if nothing comes of it.
If anything does come of it, I hope that it's a bit more than just Twitter. That would be no more than we currently have with what Milly is already doing, and just a re-branding of the service.
I’d quite happily take over the running of the website, and then control the match day stuff.

Like Mallard says, surely a free entry for Milly to home and away matches is not too much to ask?
I assume, due to representing the local Press and being allowed access to the Clubs Press box, that Milly already gets free entry to the Home games.
Yeah like most I am fortunate enough to get free access and I’m grateful for that privilege.

Praise where it’s due Milly. Shows the commitment you have to the cause. Shame it’s going unrecognised.
Easy fix really. All SC has to do is get you back onboard to cover the games for and on behalf of the Club. Win win.
Why not seek him out Saturday and offer your services ?
The problem is, The Chairman wants everything for nothing and I'm not giving my time up for anything, I done all the socials before and never received a penny, A box a biscuits at Christmas time from Ian Culverhouse.
Everything has a price these days, I have to pay my own way to get to the away games these days with the group of lads I always go with. Got a so called "social media manager" that needs a map and compass to get to games. But still happy to tweet updates like they are there which isn't fair in my opinion on people that put the miles, time, effort and money to supply a service.
Can't believe you have not been shot down yet Milly with your very true comment EVERYTHING FOR NOTHING. Well done for highlighting it yet again. Another person not afraid to speak the truth.
It’s not that I’m looking for trouble, my opinion is that they’ve got all these youngsters involved for free. Hence why they don’t commit to travelling to away games as they probably can’t afford it. Just don’t appreciate my work being copied for no recognition, if anything the football club should be encouraged to tell people to follow people that attend the games rather then get things wrong pretty much all the time by working remotely. But like I said that’s my opinion, If Stephen approached me and offered a few quid for my time and efforts then maybe things might change. And I know there’s more than one person to help get the situation sorted.

Thanks very much for the kind words. Returned back to Milsom Lodge at 01:40 to be up again for 5:30am for work.
Another no-show from the incredible club media crew, But still tweeting like they are at the game that annoys the living **** out of me, They get recognition for updates that they aren't actually providing they just copy everybody else.
But thanks to Mallard and Linnet for the messages of thanks, Things like that go along way.

The regular supporters of course will be there. It’s the casual fan the club needs to attract to make it a sell out. Maybe the TV live will put some off as will the cost.
Think the Clubs media ‘team’ could do with ramping things up to get the casual once season into the Ground. Feel a bit for SC all season in truth this area has seemed somewhat lacking.
Steady on Mallard, Asking the clubs media to do something like that is like asking for winning lottery numbers, And that's even with the new made up social media manager job. Who just for the record STILL don't even turn up to games home or away.
