I didn't go but the twittering thingy says Marriott X2 and Gyasi were the scorers. Difficult to gauge if the new era team are any good or not yet but they don't seem to be winning to nil as they did tin the era of the tough Northerner.

A pleasant afternoon out and well worth the fiver. An energetic performance by the squad. Good to see the highlights in this season's first episode of " inside the nest". A good watch

Alfreton Bedford Buxton
at which point I got bored. Three teams without illusions of grandeur! Mr Cleeve was right to draw comparison with London Zoo prices. After all Eagles, Seals and Tigers will be coming to the Walks!

Another idea! I see FC United of Manchester offer a " ten ticket book" which gives great flexibility to those who may not attend all 21 home league fixtures. This provides 10 tickets which can be used at any home league match across the season, allowing 1 supporter to attend 10 games or for a group of friends who share the tickets and attend games together.

Linnet465 the season ticket may be good value but the admission for attending the occasional single game is not. Has anyone got the contact details so I can make this point to whoever sets the prices?

That's kind but I will probably stick to the occasional Saturday game where I combine the football with other stuff in town. Thanks anyway; the thought much appreciated.

I agree with you Rod. Everyone has a better price this year apart from those of us who want to decide on the day whether we want to attend or no t. Also, not everyone wants the faff of the internet and mobile phones in buying a ticket. As for the prices, let's hope we feel we have had value for money once attending games .

That's a kind thought Mike. I live in Hunstanton and certainly be willing to share cost of petrol.

I am a irregular attender as I don't drive at night and buses dont run and therefore no evening attendance. I also like the spontanuity of making my mind up on the day whether to attend. I do attend some away games and looking forward to Buxton away which will be £10 for a seat cash on the gate!!

Disagree. Remember Doncaster away and Scunthorpe home. All strikers need service from his teammates and that has been sadly lacking. Lynn have had plenty of worse strikers! Don't forget Golds defensive capabilities.
