According to the Halifax manager our first goal was offside and the second a foul. A case of sour grapes or just that their visit yesterday wasn't very fruitful! for them. A stunning performance yesterday from the Linnets. A very enjoyable afternoon.

Whether the game is on or off an early decision will be needed to prevent unnecessary travel. Regarding a bit of mud; I can't remember my P.E. teachers at the QBS in Wisbech cancelling our x country runs along Halfpenny Lane due to the weather. Also, there seems to be a lack of flexibility. Notts County were given the opportunity to play the postponed game on the Tuesday after Bank Holiday but declined. which was a shame as many were still on holiday at that time and would have helped with crowd numbers. Yesterday, there was the suggestion to delay the kick off until four but again apparent lack of flexibility.
Can local refs be used to do match day pitch inspections to help in early decision making.

Could the rearranged game be as soon as Tuesday evening but I suppose no guarantee the pitch would be playable by then

Gate of 1309 today including myself. Game against Fc United of Mancheater which the visitors were worthy winners at 2-1. They were very slick with their passing on the artificial pitch. Theo Richardson converted to centre forward to try and force a late equaliser As an OAP the admission was six quid including a seat. The game was a bit difficult to see as it was very foggy. It was a joy to hear the announcements Of teams etc from the guy on the pitch with a microphone. Incidentally , I am a Lynn season ticket holder but happened to be in Buxton today Well.done on todays trophy success. Looking forward to the Boxing Day game against Notts County and a Josh Barrett hat trick.

Great to read the positive attitude of the local paper. " Gates continue to dwindle" nonsense and incorrect. Glad I don't waste my money buying the paper.

I am a season ticket holder who chose not to attend on Saturday. Reasons that deterred me( in no other particular order) Price of the ticket. The knowledge that the salient action would be on BBC and watching " Final Score" could follow some of the other matches. Attempted to buy ticket at the last home fixture but wasn't able to. The pre match press conference particularly the contribution from IC. The fact that many think Covid is over and the use of face coverings in enclosed spaces( e.g. the loos would be non existent).
Some good results on Saturday. Buxton beating York away with Nathan Fox and Theo Richardson in the team. Also St Albans beating Forest Green. (4,000 home fans!),lots of families at the game and most importantly No apparent inappropriate behaviour.

Always good to see local players as it motivates the local interest. The best performers seem to be amongst those with pride in the Local area. Yesterday Aaron Jones and Michael Clunan two who were playing with conviction and enthusiasm. Last season Gash- Peterborough , Marriott- Brandon not Norfolk but still near enough to create the energy and drive to make Linnets the best non league club in East Anglia which brings me to further points. What are the advantages of being a full time club? The summer recruits and loan players are disappointing ( one exception being Paul Jones) The above comments are made after watching 540 minutes of league football this season and two goals!
