Always good to see local players as it motivates the local interest.
The best performers seem to be amongst those with pride in the
Local area. Yesterday Aaron Jones and Michael Clunan two who were playing with conviction and enthusiasm. Last season Gash- Peterborough , Marriott- Brandon
not Norfolk but still near enough to create the energy and drive to make Linnets the best non league club in East Anglia which brings me to further points.
What are the advantages of being a full time club?
The summer recruits and loan players are disappointing ( one exception being Paul Jones)
The above comments are made after watching 540 minutes of league football this season and two goals!

Once Lynn went behind there didn't seem to be anyone on the pitch to gee the rest of the team up. Captain Clunan was vocal, but with the ref not the rest of the te
am.  The players are now full time ( why?) There seemed to be a greater commitment when the team were part time ( e.g. MG putting in a decent weeks work as a tree surgeon travelling to training/ matches twice a week)  what does a day look like for a silly time National League footballer? How long does a training session last each day. There's only so much analysing/ scrutinising that can be done?
I thought the enthusiasm/ energy/ pride in wearing the shirt was evident with Aaron Jones when he came  on.

Should be a good game today with Chesterfields aSPIRE rations.
Let's hope there's a TWIST in that for them today.

Agree with Gyasi to start. The brief time that he and Morias were on the pitch Lynn looked dangerous going forward, although we now have to wait three games to see how that will work.

This year I converted from being a Norwich season ticket holder to buying one for Lynn with the idea of watching live football on a Saturday afternoon followed by watching Norwich getting thrashed on Match Of the Day.
It was my first conversion since being changed from town gas to North Sea gas in the distant past. I arrived at the ground early  and after being body scanned and no offensive weapons or even chocolate bars or crisps I was allowed in. I have a sear in the stand and asked the steward where my seat was. He gesticulated widely in the direction of area c and I used my alphabetical skills ( practiced recently in helping my great nieces in learning to read) to find my seat which had a homemade sticker with the name of the previous incumbent on.
To the football ! A decent game. Lynn man of the match: Paul Jones.
A number of good Lynn performances; Rowley ( 2nd in m.o.m. considerations)
Like to see more of Gyasi ( a player running at defences is always exciting to watch)
Disappointing aspect: Morias' tackle and red card ( an awful challenge)

Overall, a good afternoon. After being locked down, locked in, locked up etc
it was good to be out in the fresh air!

P.s. to keep the cost down I had an enjoyable all day breakfast at Morrisons and come
December I can use my bus pass to travel to and from games.
