General Discussion / Re: F OT L open evening

I have in the past asked if the FOTL could advertise how they have helped the Club and what they have purchased. There is plenty of time to do this prior to the 7th Sep and if they did I believe a lot of people would like to become members especially at only £5.

The most important thing we should consider is how do we accommodate the extra supporters from the away side at the Walks that will obviously come to support them.  The answer is straight forward in my opinion, keep the open terrace at the Tennyson Road end as it is but extend the covered standing area from that corner to the halfway line.  At least it is then possible for people who have traveled a long way to get some protection from the elements and not have to travel home wet, and cold.  Home supporters do have other areas in the ground to go to including the other half of that covered stand.

General Discussion / KLFC v The Posh

Peterborough's team last night had 9 players who were involved in their last game at Portsmouth last Sat 31st July. Maybe could be described as a Youthful side but was full of talent and experience which was a very good test for us. Personally, I am really looking forward to next season and watching as many games that I can.

I have seen (or heard on a Live Stream that McAuley is on contract for next season.  The only other name I heard last night was that Clunan is as well.  Add McFadden that is the only names I know of for sure.   I hope Barrows and Richards are.

With Pompeyís fan base I would be surprised if it was less than 2000 which would be at least £10,000 for each club.  Do we know how many purchased live streaming for the Port Vale game?  :comeon: :oldman"

I haven't seen any advertising anywhere of Live Streaming for tomorrows game v Woking, only that Radio Norfolk are broadcasting it.  Great shame if it isn't being shown.

I don't think for one minute that anyone in the club would have wanted this as it leaves us with no cover if Mair is injured or called up for International Duty.    It is a huge blow but I don't blame Street for wanting regular football and he has decided to leave the club, I would suspect it is his choice alone.  Good luck to him and best wishes for the future.

Good idea, if it is about the club, staff and the players and not full of adverts.  Possible £3000 profit or more so why not.

The ideas coming forth all sound encouraging and I agree that maybe a commentary is required but hopefully not canned crowd noises.  A person who springs to mind to do the commentary is David Wright if he is willing, or Westlynn Mike.

No doubt there will be many who will object to anything above £10 being charged because of League One clubs (like Portsmouth, who I also support only charging £10).  They will of course have many thousands tuning in and that is how they can only charge that amount.  I sincerely hope we can make the right decisions and make a go of it.  :scarf: :oldman"

I would willingly pay £10 a match or even £15 if live stream was the only way to watch the Linnets - home and away.

If he decides to buy a non-league side donít be surprised if it is Gosport Borough.  He had a very good working relationship with the current Chairman when they were both at Pompey.

Unless itís all change this season last season (2018/19) four clubs were relegated from the National League. If that is the case the obvious solution is promote the two top teams from North and South as it stands now.

Admin can you Please inform us what is in place this season.
