Rod, as I said on my post I hope I'm proved wrong. I hope he makes it in full time football, and better coaching and being around better players will help.
After watching him where do you think he needs to improve?

Mallard, guess it’s no different to people who don’t go to games….how can they form opinions on players and football. With all due respect.
Don’t worry I’ll just comment on the football from now on.

I'm not a trust member, and obviously not seen the letter but have got the basics from the comments on here, so hopefully allowed to comment.....this seems the only way out at the moment. The trust get what they were formed for and that's a say in the running of the club (even if they only currently represent a minority of fans) and we can hopefully start to be run correctly off the pitch.
One person running the club can't continue.
Lots and lots to do, hope for everyone sakes a resolution comes quickly.
Would hopefully also mean better communication and openness to ALL fans, whether a trust member or not.

Watched the highlights of a recent game can’t say he impressed me, yes he scored but didn’t look like he would cope at level 2 without a lot of help
Glad someone else said it. Watched him for Heacham & Downham. Yes he scores goals but needs a better all round game to make it at NLN (or higher level).....but hope I'm proved wrong and he has a good full time football career.

What’s happened to Hughes? Is he injured or just out of favour for whatever reason?
Looked fit enough warming up before Chorley game last week. I reckon there's been a falling out or Lakeland, for some strange reason, just doesn't rate him. He's had good games this season, scores then gets dropped. Shame really as technically one of our better players. Wonder if it's the same with McCammon?

Looking at the table, league winners will be Scunny, Kiddy or Brackley. Have a sneaking feeling for Brackley.
Chester looks secure(ish) for plays off leaving 6 clubs going for the final 3 places. Going to be an interesting last few games!

Why don't he put the 50,000 in himslef and then take it back out when he gets the 300,000 in?
Anyone know how much a second hand Bentley is worth?

There are videos going around online now, basically Theo took a dive and pretended to be elbowed, getting the opposition striker sent off...
Woking appealed it and it got over turned, didn't help them on they day though. Shame the FA don't bring a rule in where if a decision like this gets overturned then the other player involved should receive a ban if it's clear they got a player sent off.

Bal was at the game today
Yes.
Thanks for that. Always glad to get confirmation of something I know happened from someone not at the game.

I guess the People steering the Trust must all be of a certain age so might be an idea if the likes of you Paul got involved then could have a greater say in policy and fundraising etc.
Good joke that Mallard...I'm assuming that it wasn't an actual serious point!

I agree the Trust wouldn’t have infrastructure to run a club at step2. Certainly not be able to fund it to the current level. Having said that without Jo it would seem neither can SC. So where does that leave us ?
What would be the ideal structure in your expert eyes Paul ? Fully agree with you about Step 5 Football. Downham look to be with a good shout of winning the Thurlow Nunn at step 5. ( good luck to them). So hopefully we won’t ever get ourselves in such a mess as to find ourselves at that level again.
I'm hardly an expert (certainly not like some on here think they are), but seeing as you asked I wouldn't want our trust anywhere near having a say in the running of the club. No issue with fan involvement just wouldn't want anyone from our trust involved. SC has obviously taken us as far as he can, where we go from here who knows. Maybe (!!) we'll find out at some point (not holding my breath on that one).

Who is going to form and organise a community based club. I would think that unless there are some strong well organised and moneyed persons this is a dead duck realistically. Also won’t these persons need to buy out SC or whoever. I and I think a good few supporters are happy paying our match fee’s hopefully seeing a reasonable team putting in a organised competitive entertaining performance. I agree we are kept like mushrooms in the dark about the machinations of running a FC, as such maybe the new app may go some ways to appeasing some critics. Let’s not forget we are lucky to have a town FC and if you have watched some of the lower league football on you tube we should be grateful for SC’s efforts to achieve this. I certainly would not watch a match if we folded and started at a low level again with local”amateur “ players, guess I have been spoilt.
Great post....have to say I agree with majority of what you're saying. I'll take this level over the United Counties League any day.

Does Saturday go down as a must win?
We'll go above Chorley if we win so important game for our play-off chances. 5 games to go, can't afford to drop many points, let's see what happens. Should be good crowds for the last 3 home games.
