General Discussion / Re: Travis Wright Departs

It's hard to understand why Lynn would allow their leading scorer and, at the time, their best performer leave on loan in the first place. I assume there must have been some issue behind the scenes.Hopefully, Mallard's right and he returns and comes up with some much needed goals.

Pleased to see the club appointing new media men promptly. Perhaps they could tell us where Gyasi and Williams are and update the playing squad on the website. It just looks so unprofessional when players who have moved on are still listed. And this website should definitely remain independent. Well done to admin for keeping it going.

What has happened to the promise of keeping supporters informed of what is going on at the club? Will the media pair be replaced? And on the football side, does anyone know whether Gyasi and Theo Williams are still Lynn players? The website player pen pics are hopelessly out of date. Still massive room for improvement on keeping us informed and unlikely to get better if the media pair are not replaced.

Well done and thank you to those providing feedback. Can anyone enlighten me as to what is wrong in the main stand?

Thanks. Let's hope for clear answers to all questions and a positive evening for fans sidelined for far too long.

Message to Spiv: Mallard's point about the Sport England loan needs airing tonight. I hope someone will ask the question about what sort of timeframe is envisaged before TSI withdraw their commitment.  I would appreciate some feedback from the meeting on the forum. Sorry I can't attend.

I live in Leicestershire, so for fans and Trust members like me, Mallard's suggestion is excellent. Let's hope someone at the club can do it.

I'm sure most of us are not surprised so little information is coming out of the club. They can't even keep the website up-to-date - Joe Simpson is still shown as interim manager and Crowther, who left weeks ago, is listed as a player.,

Malcolm and I were newsroom colleagues at the Lynn News in the early 1970s. As well as following the fortunes of the Linnets, he also supported Arsenal. I also recall he was heavily involved with friends in forming the Lynn Sunday League team called The Hawks.

Keeping supporters informed appears to be a low priority for the club. Perhaps a little digging and asking some pertinent questions from the local media might throw light on the current situation.

Just when Lynn seemed to be in calmer waters after a summer of turmoil and upheaval. The club statement was an insult to supporters who deserve a better explanation. I doubt we will hear from Mr Rowe as I can not remember hearing him once speak directly to the local media, always through the club media man. No doubt social media will be spilling the beans, so surely it would be better if the club came out with a fuller explanation now.

Well done to James Rowe clearly winning over fans and guiding his young team to play attractive football. One thing I've noticed - has anybody else? - is, so far, no after-match questions from the local press or Radio Norfolk.  He answers a few brief questions from the club media man which are posted on YouTube. His comments are the used by the Lynn News and EDP. Last season's mini Press conferences with Mr Lakeland were informative and not just answers to what the club wanted to ask.

I don't comment too often but read the forum each day. This is getting unpleasant and a line should be drawn now.
