:dontknow: I can't believe we are actually airing this topic as in my opinion the raising funds sideshow should reflect from within the management structure and not the fans  :dontknow: from my point of view the new ticket prices are my voluntary contribution  :bankrupt:

General Discussion / Admission prices 2017..
« on: June 25, 2017, 06:12:05 AM »
:dontknow: just checked out the admission prices and noticed that the fa cup and fa trophy games are still "tba".......also that certain games over the Xmas/new year period & potentially high away support,  where this is extra security needed will implement an increase on the price on the day!!! :banghead;  I'm afraid the wording & term "taken for a ride" this season will be very applicable ...

Well it looks we will have a solid and exciting youth set up for the future/ a new kit/ a new badge, but that won't win or get us promoted will it ?

:welcome: to say I am disappointed is an understatement, with the constant build up on twitter via the chairman. On a long term basis this young lad will be a good addition for the future, but with the physical demands needed for the evo stick premier he would clearly take a season or two to adjust..my main concern is the ticket prices with these relatively minor signings :rain:

In my opinion it will be 3-5-2 this season which seems to be the  blueprint for the new boss... with Ryan Jarvis just off the front two whoever they may be, possibly gillies & grant holt in my "wild" imagination. I foresee the next signing to be significant for the future plans so please mr Cleese do ya stuff!!!

Good points grissles on your last post  :cup2: but nemesis if the 50k is correct on the managers salary that is quite alarming on the basis of the gillies & frary signings who are yet to prove themselves at this level..   i do hope an established  player is on the horizon for that budget :dontknow: netherless im sure he knows what is needed  :scarf:

:scarf: my hopes for the season are a consistent top five place, my fears are a slow start and playing catch up only to miss out in the latter stages

Mettam has scored most of his goals at step 3. 20+ in 2008/9 at Corby when they won promotion to Conference North and 66 in 80 appearance at Worksop in Northern Prem. He then moved to Telford and has not scored many since. I hope I am wrong I think he is a huge gamble for this coming season as he now seems to be injury prone. You only have to look at what happened with him prior to his fall out with the management last season
totally agree, in my opinion he lacked a decent level of fitness, but given a good pre season with the managers strict regime he could play a part hopefully!!

A goal scorer is a scorer at "a level" not any.... mettam is a prime example,
