A little further back R Doughty and Son with George Mallett one of the main drivers. Also recall when Mick Wright was manager the club used Dacks buses 😲
I used Eagles coaches whenever possible for Supporters Club away travel as it was not easy getting a regular coach company due to the fact that the club owed various companies outstanding monies for team travel. :bus:

It's no wonder there are so many empty advertising spaces opposite the Stand.  500 one year....asking for  1500 the next!

That is absolute madness and not surprisingly most people said NOOOOO.

 I wager the majority of advertisers would have said yes to 750   :banghead;

Even that is an absolute crazy 50% increase Ken. When businesses have had an atrocious 18 months because of covid and lockdowns like KLTFC have had. How many of those companies have had a half a million pound bail out?
Don't forget i also know how much the actual board costs along with the printing so even contemplating asking for 1500 is disgraceful.

If you are good enough you are old enough!
Had a great chat with the Wroxham secretary when Heacham played their reserves a couple of weeks ago. Wroxham hope that he is not recalled i can assure you.

Remember the good old days when the supporters club had at best a coach or coaches, if not two minibuses driven by myself and Trevor Defty and at worst just the 1 minibus pretty much to all away games.
As well as that there were other minibuses arranged by various fans but not under the Supporters Club banner.

Hi

Every Saturday from around 11am through till around 4.45pm and again on Sunday Mornings, hundreds, if not thousands of local people are in parks, fields and stadia watching or playing football and other high impact sports.

Every weekend, without fail, the A & E department will see quite an influx of visitors with sprains, breaks and fractures and head injuries sustained by people playing the beautiful game.

Our hospital however, regardless of how brilliant the staff and service provision given, is crumbling and is now very dangerous with over 200 props holding up the roofs in public access areas.

Wards have had to close to be made safe and it's getting worse.

There is a petition that requires 10,000 signatures to get a response from the Government.

This petition needs just 380 more signatures to get that response.

Can i ask, that as a club,  we help push this over the line today. If you haven't signed, please do so.

Then share the petition link via email, WhatsApp, Fb, Linkedin etc and get this done today.

If you administer an email group, or FB group,  share this YET AGAIN with a personal plea if that's what it takes.

Thanks in advance

Let's just get this done.

No matter Malc you have plenty going on getting this new committee sorted.
Which despite various requests on here there has (not by myself) been no names or job titles confirmed.

Culverhouse in an interview said he was aiming  us to be around midway but he also said he suspected the Chairman was aiming higher

Aiming high with eyes closed.

Interesting concept.

Their aim is Thurlow Nunn in the future. They have a planning application in for floodlights. Brilliant set up with an amazing committee and volunteers, Supporters club and clubshop. Sponsorship boards that are affordable, matchday ball sponsors and match sponsors queueing up to be part of the journey.
Their prices for food and drink are amazing (but still profitable).
The whole of the village are behind them with an amazing MINORS set up that is tied into a Norwich City Scheme.

Jack Defty was outstanding. Heacham created several chances, could have been 5 or 6.
Although i missed the game unfortunately ,i did make it back just in time for the first race of a Horse Race Evening which by the looks of it raised a lot of money for the club. Including Jon Senter and Sam Pishorn, instead of going home with their substantial winnings from the last owners race, donated it back to the club.
What an amazing gesture.
Onwards to Mundford away on tuesday at 7-30pm for the teams first ever away game in Anglian Comb Prem.

A season of extreme caution is required imho, especially as the Pandemic still holds the world by the throat. We mustn't forget that there is still the possibility of a further lockdown, although thankfully that does appear to be receding at the moment.

If we are put in lock down again or we have to live under restrictions of some sort, I really can't see any more grants, or even cheap loans being offered. That means no money to pay existing costs, let alone additional ones, however small they are.

Apparently two games already called off due to squad members testing positive.

We're not out of the woods yet! Let's hope all Clubs are as stringent with their Covid testing!
Club doctors should refuse to participate at any club if they are not happy with the vaccination programme. Then there would be even more serious issues on matchday!

Mr Cleeve needs to sign one of these with the FOTL asap. Then everyone will know what's going on, and expected from each party.
Fat chance of that. He will want 10000 up front for his autograph, 1000 for the photo of the signing ceremony.

Please tell me their line up gs
they also seem unsure as they are only now leaking out new signings on Twitter in the past couple of days. Perhaps between the first team and the ladies we have enough for 1 team.

Unfortunately John was in Papworth hospital during the lockdown and very unwell at the time but if there is anyone who would stand up to SC (nobody else is) then John would of been the man.

That's a big problem Gordon.

Some so desperate to hang onto their links with the Club, however tenuous that may be,  they are prepared to close their eyes to all that's wrong.
Would you like to know who will be the next to jump ship?
