Hi Nikki. I have broad shoulders. When i post it is the truth rather than the bull**** that supporters are fed by the club. People though have short memories. If someone was to write a book about all that will be coming and happening to Lynn as in programme notes and podcasts in the past 4-5 years the book would have more pages than the Bible.
Whoever it is for training they must make sure they get their money! 199

Hillingdon Borough were another difficult opponent at the time but sadly they didnt fare quite so wellKings Lynn definitely owned houses in the Vancouver Avenue/York Road area in the 60s. Malcolm Lindsay ran pubs after his football career including the Fenman opposite the station and also i believe the Bentinck on Loke Road. In later life he also did holiday cover around the area so that owners or managers could have a holiday. He also ran the White Horse at March. Still keeps in touch on facebook. Brian Jenkins took over Archie Missons newsagents on Loke Road which became part of Readwell. Brian and his wife moved to Chelmsford but i believe they are back in Kings Lynn. The legend that was Dick Everitt had the Anchor in the Friars are and also the White Swan in West Lynn 200

from seeing the news tonight it is said that although infections are up it is more the 20-29s who have not been vaccinated that are the problem. They then interviewed some cocky prat who thought he was super fit and if he caught it it would be alike to having a cold. If that is the general opinion of that age group then god help us. Some are worried if the vaccinbe will affect their fertility. If they get Covid they will have far more to worry about than whether they are fertile or not!
I also have no political persuasion but i am sorry to say that none of the leaders or there mps especially the shadow ones have a clue. Boris resembles a baboon in his swagger and on occassions acts like one to. Someone really needs to get a grip! But hang on it will soon be holiday time for Parliament, perhaps covid will take a break also? 201

I am not personally aware of any team that has played at The Walks having been self financing, even with the cheap deal on the ground (though I am willing to be proved wrong). The reserves in Busters time were self funding even having to pay to use the pitch and extra when floodlights were required. They were the most successful team (Reserves) for many seasons thanks to a great bunch of parents/volunteers/ sponsors and of course players. 204
General Discussion / Re: u21/RESSIES« on: June 11, 2021, 09:56:18 PM »Thanks for the clarification B & G.For one Kes kit cost does not come into it. FREE kit is normally part of the kit deals (matchday kit, training kit, travel kit, management, coaches, kitman etc included with the likes of Kappa, O'Neills, DEFINITELY Joma from my time as the go between. Yours eyes would water if you new how much those deals came to. Then had the gaul to demand more free kit to sell at retail in the clubshop and online. I still have a copy of the JOMA contract! Very interesting reading. 205

Obviously we/I hope they don't, but stranger things have happened.the rise and fall of Boston United and Lowestoft Town are clear examples 206

Been very reliably informed that the U21/Ressies has had the plug pulled on them. So whats the good of telling all these youngsters to join the academy if you want to play for KLTFC. What chance is there of being elevated straight into the 1st team directly from say the U19s? Surely if a player is that good he will be scouted by someone far bigger than Kings Lynn.
Sad day, the last time this happened i believe was under the Gary Mills leadership. On thge plus side the teams such as Fakenham, Swaffham, Downham etc will surely benefit from this folly. 208

Yes at Dereham Town FC. I saw them play at Heacham a few weeks ago and they are definitely capable of holding their own next season.
