Definitely not. You know what the real answer is without me having to spell it out.
More official outgoings in the very near future, and i don't mean players. 228

General Discussion / Re: Stephen Cleeve - Are You a fan Yes/No« on: January 20, 2022, 09:10:33 PM »Think sour grapes would be more fittingThe only sour grapes are from the dodgy wine deals! Me i am on cloud nine, enjoying my football more than anytime under the current regime. Here is another fact for you. When we bailed out the club in the October and sponsored both the 1st team and the Reserves i asked if my and my business partners grandsons could be the mascots for the final 1st team home game of the season. Yes Gordon, how does £150 sound. I immediately turned that down and at the end of the season the 2 boys had a great day mostly thanks to the attention given them by Ian Culverhouse and the players! MJ when next in Newmarket get your blinkers serviced! 231

Hope it doesn't haunt us?????? Surely it does every single day with the most important fact of all. NOBODY with any money and who can read will have anything to do with KLTFC while SC is at the helm. There is a huge amount of industry within a 10 mile radius of Kl but not one of them will sponsor KLTFC because of the ridiculous amounts of money asked for the pleasure of doing so. Business people talk amongst themselves and the amount of times i have heard he asked for £100k, well i was offered at £75K etc etc.
The commercial side that should be exploring every avenue bringing in sponsorships etc usually lasts about 7 days before the latest incumbant leaves. Famous scouts (who allegedly founded Rooney), who cost KLTFC a small fortune and found NOTHING. You all keep listening to the spiel but the final result is always the same. ZILCH. Take off your blinkers people. If anyone has all the programme notes from day 1 i guarantee even a tiny percentage have ever come to anything. As for Setch getting the sack, in the February i was driving SC to Harlow Football Club to meet Joma. One of the conversations was Gordon do you think i should sack Setch. Obviously i refused to give an answer to that question. On the way home Gordon stop at McDonalds for a meal. He even held the door open for me but to tell me on going inside i haven't any cash or cards with me Gordon!!!!! Said it before i can write a book. I will call it "Wakey wakey KL Supporters". 232

Same old, same old. Concentrate on the league. How many league games have we actually won since february 2020? You won't need an abacus to count them. Concentrate on the league, that's a sick joke.
Went out to the eventual winners last season from a much lower league. Just think of the monies that are available to actually win a game in the Trophy and progress. Obviously we don't need the money!!!! I would also say that the crowd at Tonbridge was higher than if we had played the tie here at the Walks! 234

I will donate £100 to a charity of your choice if you can prove that one word of my alleged pathetic post is wrong. Also because it is the truth i also am not frightened to post under my actual name. Perfectly grown up and moved on. 235

What an absolute disaster, one after another. Does the chairman ever read all his build up talk of who is coming in and what they are going to achieve etc etc. Does he ever announce when these people then leg it after hardly being in the job 5 minutes?
KLTFC need a 2022 version of John Fincham and his amazing achievements year after year and in my time the most successful Commercial manager. What or who that man did not know was not worth knowing. At that time also a management committee, massively successful clubshop (without the online help available nowadays), huge Supporters Club, regular clubroom functions, Christmas supporters lunch, 100 Club, Bonus Ball, away travel to virtually every game, end of season functions over a 3 day weekend. Etc, Etc. What we have at this immediate time is pathetic. 236
General Discussion / Re: Boston Utd« on: January 05, 2022, 07:32:30 PM »We have done much better at Lynn. We have National League Football (?) at Championship League prices. Well we did have until SC realised that the Lynn supporters weren’t such big mugs as he thought. So he reduced the prices for when the lesser teams paid a visit.Spot on. I was reliably informed that it was £2 more to see Crystal Palace v West Ham last week for a concession ticket to what KLTFC are charging. Yes Premier League v National League. No contest. The damage is well and truly already done with the cocky arrogance shown. Upset your loyal fan base and sponsors. Great achievement that. 237
General Discussion / Re: Boston Utd« on: January 04, 2022, 07:31:29 PM »Makes sense that one. Bazza big connection and we know IC’s capabilities. It Might encourage a few Lynn fans to pop along, when Lynn are away. I know of Lynn fans who live that side of the river who have been going to Boston games so far this season. Big difference in the price was one reason. 238
General Discussion / Re: Chesterfield away« on: January 03, 2022, 10:32:21 AM »Tony, it was never a post about who traveled to Chesterfield, as you say we would generally have taken more, it was a post basically about people in general falling out of love with KLTFC. We as supporters have been through some really good times of recent, but where are we going too end up now we are seemingly pressing the self destruct button, many, many people have chosen not to attend matches for various reasons, they are probably still supporters, but not paying supporters. We need only look at St. Neots and Histon to name just 2 local teams who we seem to be following. They are now playing at there real level, after the boom generally comes the bust, unless you can get the paying customers through the turnstiles, which we seem unable to do.good initial post Dazza and 2 the latest one you could add Boston United, Lowestoft, Billericay, AFC Telford, Rushden and Diamonds, Nuneaton etc etc. 239
